    Just can’t get to see a doctor. I now use google and self medicate. My 4year old child has eczema it’s getting worse due to not being able to get prescribed cream, we end up in Holland and Barrette!

    Thank you for your feedback. I was sorry to hear about the difficulty you have experienced with arranging an appointment. We offer same day urgent appointments that are available to book from 8am Monday to Friday and routine appointments up to 6 weeks in advance. We also have an online consultation service which can be accessed via a link on our website www.oakwoodmedicalcentren14.nhs.uk with an initial response provided within 3 working days.     I put in a repeat prescription on 03/06/2023, after trying for 3 days, back and forth to the practice to pick up the prescription, it was not ready, I had to go and ask the pharmacy to lend me the tablets. By putting the prescription in early that would mean I would not run out of pills, instead I went 3 days without my blood pressure tablets, and knowing my medical history that is not a good thing! Apart for the fact that I am fuming, I was given the run around by the staff( it was in the with the doctor, it will be ready later, it has been sent to the pharmacy) also this is not the first time this has happened! I now have to go into the surgery tomorrow ( 12/06/2023) to see if it is ready to take to the pharmacy. I would like a reply by email, better still a appointment with the practice manager to dissuss this matter!

    No one ever answers the phone Keep trying but the line goes dead New patient and poor service. I have phoned and phoned and no one answers when my partner has a serious issue

Unfortunately, there are times when the phone lines do get very busy and our staff work hard to manage the calls as quickly as possible.
