  1. Review titled Outstanding GP’s

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have only recently moved to this GP practice and I have to say it is the best surgery I’ve ever come across. I have complex needs and I find the receptionists pleasant and my named GP is second to none. She always goes the extra mile and I feel like the genuinely cares. I’m autistic and my GP is so brilliant with me. I always usually get to see my named GP which is great when you’re autistic as it really helps to build my trust in my GP. Would highly recommend this practice.

  2. Review titled Warm welcome!

Rated 5 stars out of 5

My parents moved to Oaklands Medical Practice recently after more than 50 years in the same one. I can definitely say that as a family we breathed a sigh of relief! The GP gave them her full attention and didn’t rush, making the whole experience less daunting and straightforward. Very many thanks!

  3. Review titled Amazing service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I just wanted to say what amazing service I have received from Oaklands medical centre today. A number of queries were dealt with in a very friendly yet professional manner, and the final query I had, which involved completing a triage form online was answered within minutes. Brilliant.

  4. Review titled Lack of appointments

Rated 3 stars out of 5

Friendly GPS, nice clean environment, but unable to make appointments. Reception staff told me they're unable to book advance appoints yet when questioned further revealed there were only 2 appointments remaining for the following day for a particular GP (who had asked to see me for a follow up after treatment). How can there only be 2 appointments left if they cannot be pre-booked? Doesn't make sense. And why can't I pre-book? My dentist can. My optician can. Why can't my doctors? I'm told to call at 8am. I cannot simply drop everything for a non-emergency appointment - I actually have to go to work and arrange things like time off and travel. And why no online appointment booking? If you actually ever get to see a GP they are friendly and helpful.
