Review titled New patient info on website is incorrect
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 28 April 2025
The new patient information on the website on booking an appointment is incorrect. See quoted from the website below. "Appointments. Booking online via Patient Access. (Please note to use this service you will first have to register. To do this, please call in to the practice and speak to one of the receptionists." We followed this advice and were told "We don't use patient access. Then shown another way on the website which is not clear on how to book an appointment. This needs amendment. Staff have said they have fed this back to whoever administers the website but " they don't listen." A new patient will.. Read the website and do advised. Then be told different. This is confusing. Then new patients will have missed a day of being able to make an appointment when medical appointments are needed. Please amend the website urgently.

Review titled Rude woman on desk

I only asked today to set up my son on my nhs app, so I can order his creams on my account, she was speaking to me like I was stupid, and repeating everything I was saying back to me very patronising. She didn't have a clue what I was asking her so she made out like I was the stupid one for asking.

Review titled Outstanding GP’s
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 11 January 2024
I have only recently moved to this GP practice and I have to say it is the best surgery I’ve ever come across. I have complex needs and I find the receptionists pleasant and my named GP is second to none. She always goes the extra mile and I feel like the genuinely cares. I’m autistic and my GP is so brilliant with me. I always usually get to see my named GP which is great when you’re autistic as it really helps to build my trust in my GP. Would highly recommend this practice.

Review titled Warm welcome!

My parents moved to Oaklands Medical Practice recently after more than 50 years in the same one. I can definitely say that as a family we breathed a sigh of relief! The GP gave them her full attention and didn’t rush, making the whole experience less daunting and straightforward. Very many thanks!
