  1. Review titled Good service.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I telephoned at 11.30am, appointment with Doctor Practitioner. Excellent thorough examination, illness identified, prescription written out. Excellent service just before Christmas. The Practitioner was friendly and most importantly had time to do a thorough examination. Thank you very much.

  2. Review titled Messy practice

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Some doctors and nurses here are amazing and lovely but it is ruined by the others who are condescending and don’t know what they’re doing. I have been an asthmatic for 20 years and have suddenly been denied the ventolin inhaler, I am suffering daily asthma attacks without it and so have been having to borrow and pay others for an inhaler to be able to stay alive. I have not received an explanation why I cannot have the inhaler anymore. I also have been trying to report symptoms to the GP for nearly 2 years but due to how bad my breathing is they only want to focus on that and repeatedly tell me “I don’t care about the other symptoms” or “I’m not discussing that it’s not important”. I feel so put down and unheard that I no longer care about my health and will just let it deteriorate.

  3. Review titled No callback

Rated 1 star out of 5

Had a telephone appointment booked for today now gone 8pm no call recieved. Not convinced the issue the appointment was for could be dealt with over the phone either despite me being clear why I needed the appointment. Very poor

  5. Review titled Great experience.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Now I know the reviews are not great however I managed to book an appointment for the next day for my son. Saw a lovely GP registrar who was friendly and helpful. Yes the reception staff could do with being a bit more friendly but other than that I was pretty impressed, even got seen early.

  6. Review titled I'm facing being left without HRT medication

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 24 October 2023

Struggling to get an appointment to get more HRT medication before my current medication runs out in the 31st October. Was told the earliest my request could get referred for a doctor to look at was the 7th November. When I said that was too late as I would have been without HRT for a week I was told appointments get released online daily and to try there. I'm trying. There are none. I tried multiple days previous to attempting the online consultation and there were none then either. All I want is my prescription which should have been set up as a repeat prescription to be set up correctly so I can order repeat prescriptions through the NHS app. This is an impossible process for medications which you are going to need on a recurring monthly basis. I'm facing being without the medication I need and all my symptoms which I was finding impossible to live with coming back again. Appalling service.

  7. Review titled Dreadful

Rated 1 star out of 5

Walked to reception to make an appointment. I was told that no appointments were available either face to face or by phone. A future appointment was not possible. I was advised to return again the next day at 08.00 hrs to attempt to make an appointment, or phone at 08.30. I have difficulty using a phone. The walk is 2 miles. The receptionist apologised and said she could not help further. I am 84 and never missed a National Insurance payment during my working life. I now realise that I cannot make a claim.

  9. Review titled Worse Than Useless

Rated 1 star out of 5

Tried to get an appointment by telephone for 2 weeks as had a throat & ear infection & needed antibiotics. Could not get through on phone where outo message immediately states "there is no capacity" or when did get through got told same by girl. Called 111 & got told they could also not make an appoinment (means their reserved appointments are used already) & I shoudl go to A&E - a sixty mile round trip to wait up to 12 hours with no one to drive me & I have disabilities as well as illness. Got dentist appointment privately today at no notice & prescribed antibiotics for the throat & ear infection which had by now spread into my mouth - my teeth fine & needed no attention. So I paid £45.70 instead of being seen on NHS & getting anitibiotics free or as I have paid NI - my entitlement. Dreadful, hopeless lack of service. We need a new GP practice in Rutland immediately. NB dentist says this is happening far to frequently.

  10. Review titled not great!

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Evie - Posted on 21 September 2023

I’m type one diabetic and have been for the past 7 years! I have been put onto a pump and a Dexcom which have made my life so much easier! now, in order to have a pump I have to have vials of insulin but have to have my pre-filled pens still on my prescription (in case my pump fails). Almost every other prescription, I request for my vials and they end up giving me pre-filled pens, like seriously you’re prescribing me the wrong items when I haven’t even requested them! I also don’t think your team understands the urgency of needing insulin when I physically cannot survive without it but they just really don’t seem to care about that! Not only this, this item is special order so they don’t typically have it in stock at the pharmacy and it takes around 3 days for them to get it in, yet again they really don’t care about this, even though I have mentioned it several times and yet again I’m left without my insulin pump for another 5 days minimum! secondly I was put onto the Dexcom one which is amazing! however when i was referred for it, I got a copy of the referral letter and it specifically states that I should get three every month! now please tell me why I have just gone to put in my prescription for my Dexcom (this is only my second device I’ve ever used, the first one got sent in the post by the hospital and the second one was prescribed) and they are refusing to prescribe me my device when they only gave me one which lasts 10 days and I am not allowed another one until the 8th of October (it’s currently the 21st of September), like seriously how can they do this when they have it black and white from the hospital! I honestly don’t think they ever check your notes or anything at the gp as I had to request that this was added to my prescription and they said that they hadn’t received anything, however when the women I spoke to had a “proper look”, she said that they received the referral 12 days ago! this is honestly really starting to frustrate me now as it is starting to effect my life by making it 10 times harder than it already should be! I’m so disappointed and honestly don’t know what to do now! I am with Rutland late night pharmacy and they have never faulted me, it always seems to be the gp side of them sending it over to them!
