I had an appointment on 12 May - with a nurse - haven't seen an actual GP for over 2 years. Bloods were taken, I rang for the results yesterday, a week later. During the appointment, I'd asked for a definitive diagnosis of joint and bone pain. I'd been told at a previous appointment that arthritis had been noted in my neck during a CT scan months previously. I hadn't been informed at the time. I was told that any other joint pain was "probably arthritis" too. Having been told some 12/14 years ago I have fibromyalgia, I wanted to know if the pain were indeed arthritis, or a flare up of fibromyalgia; which hasn't really bothered me that much over the years. When I rang about the bloods, I asked about my referral to Benenden - which I had asked for during my appointment. The nice lady I spoke to said the medical secretary had gone home and would phone me today. She phoned early and proceeded to tell me how a referral to Benenden works; an organisation I have been a member of for over 50 years. Since it was just Civil Service and Post Office. She also said she was only up to 8 May dictation/drafts for letters. She constantly talked over me. I hadn't yet approached Benenden because I didn't have the referral letter, or indeed even knew it was being done. My partner got a referral form for them the Same day a couple of weeks ago, from an actual doctor. So I did what she'd said, Benenden sent the link for the referral, which expires in 48 hours, I doubt I'll get the referral letter in time. I can ask for another link. I just hope the referral is correct, and has the relevant information for Benenden. I don't like being talked over when I'm trying to explain my point of view. I'm aware of the strain GP surgeries are under. But this isn't the first time I've been let down and undiagnosed by this practice. I apologise for any mistakes in this. It's virtually impossible to read it through as I cannot scroll up easily.

Oakhall are back to pre covid reception now very polite and do there best to work things out to suit you i visited a new Dr/ Paramedic to the team I found him very easy to chat to and knowledgeable but all the team are on the ball now

I am very grateful for the support I have received from Oak Hall surgery in the last 12 months. The GP reacted very quickly in diagnosing my B12 illness and all staff at Oak Hall surgery have provided a very efficient service with the follow up treatment and appointments. I have found the e-consult system particularly efficient and have experienced very prompt responses from the reception staff. Where appropriate I have been able to receive face to face appointments with nurse practitioners and a GP. All staff have worked in a co-ordinated way and have even called me back when looking in to issues such as prescriptions or arranging further appointments. The GP, Nurse Practitioners, Surgery Pharmacist and Reception staff have been excellent.

To be told by the doctor that he couldn't advise me. That I have to contact Guy's cardiology myself and that I have to take responsibility for my own health, was not what I expected to hear. Why bother making the phone appointment in the first place? I felt that he wasn't really interested, which was confirmed to me when the phone cut out and he didn't even try and phone back.

I felt I was really listened to and treated very professionally and with the utmost respect. I have never had reason to complain about the treatment I get at Oak Hall surgery.

Everyone at Oakhall no matter how busy or how difficult the last few years have been . Have managed to be cheerful and helpful willing to advice and reassure us . Thank you

I was dissapointed that i did not recieve a call from a G.P , i had explained what i required at the time of booking andcwas told the doctor would telephone me. The outcome of the phone conversation was that what i needed could only be done by a dictir
