    Today I called at 8:02, trying to get an appointment call lines open at 8:00 and I was told on the automated service that there was no places in the que left, this isn’t the first time this has happened and like many others when you do get through all you are told is there are no available appointments or they can pre book you in a few weeks time. This surgery has been operating like we are still in lockdown for years despite covid no longer being a national health emergency I will be looking for a new gp as I don’t think this is acceptable and there seems to be no care at all for there patients

    Dear Patient Thank you for getting in touch to leave your feedback. I am sorry to hear about the difficulties you have experienced in securing an appointment recently. We are experiencing significant demand for appointments at this time and have brought in additional locum GP support to help with this. Incoming calls are placed in a queue and answered in the order they are received. A significant majority of our daily calls are received at 8am each day when the phone lines open, and our team work hard to answer each one promptly. Routine non-urgent appointments may experience delays at this time, while we are prioritise medically urgent appointments. If you are running out of medication, requests can be submitted online via our website and emergency supplies can be issued until you are able to be seen by a clinician if needed. Once again, I am sorry for any difficulties experienced with our service at this time. Thank you Mrs P R Birtles Practice Manager

    I've been with this surgery for many years and have never had cause to complain. The doctors are professional, approachable and friendly. My son is also with this surgery. He has a fear of medical environments in general but one of the doctors here is so nice she/he has taken the time to put my son at ease and now he always asks for that doctor. My recent experience has just proved to cement my great opinion of this surgery and has triggered me to write this review. The doctor went above and beyond to help me and I can honestly say its always a joy to chat to this doctor. Finally, I would add that the reception staff are also very friendly. As a whole this practice manage to maintain professionalism but at the same time provide a personal and friendly service. Thank you to all the staff for the great service provided to me and my family over the year's.

    I had a pre-arranged telephone consultation. To be called at any time throughout the day. I called the surgery at 16:38 to see if I would still be getting a call. The reception stated you are next, you will be getting a call shortly. it's now 7pm, no call. I called the surgery, it's closed! This is not the first time that I have chased a pre-arranged telephone consultation. The last time I called it seemed that the GP was calling me from the car! Unacceptable
