    I had a cataract removed at Spa Medica with the NHS and once the blurry bit had gone my eyesight was unbelieve in its clarity. it was just like sitting in your car with a dirty windscreen and putting your wiper across it. the whole team were super efficient and really kind and pleasant and the supplying of free tea, coffee and cold drinks and biscuits was so acceptable. I can hardly wait to have the other eye done now. So thanks a million to all the people involved in my care.

    I have been in 2 occasions and the service has been unremarkable. Reception is kind and helpful and they have seen me always very promptly, the have managed to answer all my queries very efficiently and they are extremely professional. The doctors were on time to see me on both occasions despite of them fitting me in their busy day to see me. I have seen 3 doctors so far and they all have been lovely. The Doctor spoke to me on the phone and had a gut feeling she needed to see me, and managed to see me in 15 min after the call! She diagnosed me with middle ear infection after the drops I was taking for otitis were not working enough, and I cannot thank her enough to save me from something that could have got much worse without her help Overall is a extremely positive experience and I cannot be happier to have joined this amazing practice.

    I was called in today because of the cancellation to have a small scar removed from my face. I was only referred last Thursday but as I say because of the cancellation they phoned me and asked me if I wanted to come in today. I’ve never been to this medical centre, but it was exceptional, the receptionist was lovely and helpful and the doctor and his assistant were also excellent in explaining everything to me and then carrying out the procedure very very effectively and speedily. I was in and out within 15/20 minutes. Thank you all!

    Very professional practice with excellent communication services with patients. Very scrupolous doctors that take care of your health 360 degrees and make the right referrals when needed. I highly recommend it.

    Used to be a great practice. After reorganisation became disgrace. Medically unqualified receptionists deciding our faith. Whether we deserve to see doctor today or not at all. Website not responsive. Irrelevant questions. Very little space to express one's problem. That's just for starters.

We offer emergency appointments on the day and routine face to face appointments on the day. We also have an online platform called Patches which many patients find beneficial to book appointments and telephone consultations without having to call the practice.     I don’t like give reviews in general, specially when are bad. I’m a patient of this practice for 7/8 years. I never felt very happy, always something was going on, negative and positive too. Unfortunately I can’t list all the issues I faced here and only thinking it makes me very annoyed. About this last experience. I’m on 1st stage of hypertension (for several years and I’m 33 now), I never requested my tablets prescription at this practice because often I’m going in my country and a cardiologist visits me. I always mention my situation but looks it was never report. It’s almost a week my blood pressure peaks very high, so I request a diuretic or at least something it could help to lower the pressure. It was denied, is not in my repeat prescription, but after I explained (via chat…) the situation a practitioner requested for me a visit after 2 days. On 1/12 I checked with a HCA the pressure and she noticed it was bit to high for someone on treatment. After the report, she told me to request at reception the prescription. At the reception a woman (visibly annoyed) told me no prescription was on my name. I explained, I was visited a minute before (she even checked me in), but nothing changed for her and she was talking to me like I was wasting her time. Very polite, I re-explain what happened and that I need something to help my situation. Again very annoyed she told me to book an appointment with a doctor for the prescription and she booked me for the 4/12, Sunday, and when I asked her how is it possible she concluded “Yes, Sunday from 10:30”. Now, on my NHS app that appointment doesn’t exist, I’m calling to ask explanations but no one is reaching the phone (I moved home few months ago on the opposite end of the city), and if I’m checking online they’re close Saturdays/Sundays. After this I’ll change once and for all practitioner.

    Dear Patient, We are sorry that you had a difficult time at the practice. We do have a clinical pharmacy team on site which includes clinical pharmacists who can review and prescribe blood pressure medication. Our medical prescribing is taken very seriously and we follow strict protocols. Medications should be initiated when in the country so that the medications can be reviewed and placed on repeat prescription for the patient. There are always checks that need to be done before a medication can be prescribed due to clinical safety. We would recommend that these issues are very well organised in advance by the patient to avoid these kinds of situations. Please feel welcome to attend the practice to discuss with a team member if you are unsure of our procedures. We also offer Saturday appointments at a sister site at the weekend for our patients convenience. Kind Regards North End Medical Centre

    This feedback refers to a member of the reception team rather than a doctor. Spoke to one of the receptionists today regarding a referral from my doctor. The young lady I spoke to was extremely helpful. I was impressed with the way in which she handled the call, as she offered her help with a friendly yet professional courtesy and furthermore resolved my queries without having to book me a telephone appointment with the doctor. A big thank you to that young lady.

    Great access to doctor through econsult, it was almost immediate! Also when my son was ill, we had very quick response from the GP on the telephone and seen within hours.

    This practice was always very polite and helpful when I used them, though I think some of the reception staff (who I am sure are extremely busy) could be a little less abrupt with patients. There was also one occasion where a receptionist was apparently incorrect about opening hours for emergency appointments, but in my experience this was a one-off. Having said that, I think the way the practice dealt with my partner when she was having an extremely hard time and came in to see a doctor at short notice suffering from what turned out to be stress and exhaustion was exemplary. The receptionist was very polite and understanding despite dealing with someone who frankly at that time was venting their frustrations at her. She clearly understood that the person in front of her needed to see someone urgently and the practice arranged for her to see a GP within half an hour or so, I think. The doctor himself was then also very understanding and helpful. We couldn't have asked for more. The above is the reason I wanted to pass on a favourable review, and while I cannot mention people by name, can I pass on our thanks to the doctor and receptionist in question. By the same token I'd like to pass on my apologies to the receptionist for the way she was spoken to. I'm sure people may have different experiences depending on how much demand the practice is experiencing from time to time, but I'd absolutely want somewhere like the North End Medical Centre near where I'd live! - a resident of Hammersmith and Fulham for 5 years
