    Speak as I find, the surgery is really trying to improve it's standing and it shows. It took me less than 5 mins to book my appointment All my family are registered here and we receive an excellent service. We have every confidence. Thanks to all involved in the improvement

    One particular experience that stands out is when my child fell unwell with symptoms related to their rare condition. I contacted the practice through the online portal, and within hours, I had a callback, reassurance, and a clear plan of action. The GP showed genuine understanding of both the physical symptoms and the anxiety I was feeling as a parent. Another time, I reached out about my own mental health. I was offered an appointment quickly, and the doctor took the time to really listen — not just to my symptoms, but to me as a person. I left the appointment feeling supported, heard, and hopeful. I’ve also had great experiences when 111 has referred me during busy periods — the triage has always been followed up with timely advice and referrals. Even through times of high demand, including COVID and beyond, I’ve consistently seen a transparent, respectful, and empathetic approach. I’ve been with this practice for over 10 years and have had countless positive experiences like these. Thank you for continuing to provide such a high standard of care — your work does not go unnoticed.

    Filled out online form on Tuesday morning by lunch time I had an appointment with a doctor on Wednesday. She was very kind polite and caring. And I left feeling very happy with the excellent service I received.

    Thanks to the female doctor who's surname begins with E ... she really is going above and beyond to resolve my issues and i have every confidence we will find a solution. Credit where its due, they are trying to improve the service on offer ... and its showing.

    I went to take my mum for her health checkup at Newbury Street Practice yesterday. While there I mentioned to the receptionist that I can't access the app for ordering my prescriptions. She was very friendly and helpful and took my details to pass on to the team that deals with it. I had a text message later that day with guidance how to resolve it. The first attempt didn't work but they came back next morning with a solution and it now works perfectly. Thanks to all involved.

    My doctor went over and above; arranging tests, scans and chasing results. I’m now on the correct courses of medications and feel so much better than I did a month ago. When I had a query about a contraindication of one of my new medications, this was looked into and the evidence of research sent over for me to look at, which answered all my concerns. I feel like I have a doctor who cares about me.

    I've gone round and round in circles trying to get listened to. Every time I reach out to have my medication adjusted, I'm met with resistance. I have a long term chronic health condition and it's getting harder to be taken seriously by anyone at the surgery. Given there are two options in Wantage, I'd recommend the one I haven't used.

    A big thank you to Newbury Street Practice. After filling in the form I was contacted within 30 minutes by a lovely receptionist and given an appointment for later that afternoon with my own doctor who showed great kindness and understanding. I could not have had a better experience.
