The Doctor I saw yesterday, his trainee in attendance and subsequent phlebotomist were excellent. Prescription review was accurate and informative. My treatment at all times was extremely professional as was my follow up appointment and necessary procedure booked for May 9 th. Thank you ,

  2. Review titled Impossible to get an appointment

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 04 April 2024

I have been calling for 3 days to try and get an appointment. It is almost impossible to get through on the phone and when you finally do, you get told the appointments are full for the day. So, on day 2 of trying, I filled in a Patch request and had a response telling me to try the phones again tomorrow, go to a pharmacy or the walk-in centre. I had requested a face-to-face appointment. On day 3, I finally got through after 1 hour on hold in the line, to be told there are no appointments for that day. This Is Not A Service!!! Why can future appointments not be booked online or over the phone? This used to be a great GP surgery. Why has it become so shockingly difficult and almost impossible to get to see a Doctor. New Southgate can't seem to provide for it's patients!!!

  3. Review titled Excellent practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

After an emergency visit to the practice in January the care and dedication I received from a certain female doctor who went beyond the care and dedication I expected. This. I had bloods taken mid morning i received a phone call from the doctor the same date at 19-00 who advised me i had to go to ED straight away at Pinderfields.because she believed there could be a danger to my life and she followed my care pattern right until i was given the all clear a week later, doctor will be sorely be missed now retirement beckons for her, what a credit to the practice,

Doc called me today left a message asking me to get in touch so I called back after being on hold for 35 mins I gave up . Then I called again after being on hold for a further 45 mins I gave up again what’s the point of calling back if there is no one to pick up the phone

  6. Review titled Good Practice

Rated 3 stars out of 5

Was trying over an hour to get through this morning 10-11 am started i was 10th in the queue then got down to 1 at 10.45am.I then waited another 15 mins for the fone to be answered but to no avail . I kept my mobile still on hold to be answered on hands free and drove to the surgery 5 mins away to see if there was a problem and i was on a loop . The receptionist was on a call and when she had finished i explained what had happened and basically didnt get an answer as to why i had waited so long for my call to be answered. I needed to speak or see a doctor for an appointment and was told there wasnt any left today but could get me in 3 weeks time . I explained i had a water infection im prone to these and was told to go to the walk in or fone 111 up . Id just spent an hr on the fone to the surgery .The service there is getting worse its such a shame because the doctors and nurses are lovely .

  8. Review titled Enquirys

There is one lady in particularly in enquiries ,I find to be on the rude side, she doesn't believe anything I say,iam stressed out enough and don't feel iam getting the help I asked for asked for some codes for the NHS app,as I cannot continue without it , because I've no id with photo on, she was most unhelpful, I've had details from them before, but something changed and will not let me access NHS app any further. I have had the NHS app since COVID and everything worked until now, I need now as iam going in hospital soon.I must point out the rest of staff are lovely,it's just this one,who I find rude and unhelpful,I would like someone else to help me

  9. Review titled Shocking service

Rated 1 star out of 5

Rang up apparently had no emergency appointments available. So I rang 111 who managed to get my an emergency appointment with the gp. 2 accidents on the motor way and over an hour sat in traffic we unfortuanlty ran 10 minutes late. Refused to see us. My daughter has what looks like a hernia appearing from her entry site of her laproscopic operation a couple of months before, and has been in discomfort and pain all day with it. No sympathy , nothing they could do as the dr refused to see us in an appointment that could of taken all of 2 minutes. And these are the Dr's that are supposed to care?
