    I think the new triage system is working quite well. I filled out the form and got a reply within the hour, with an appointment for the next day for my daughter

    Getting an appointment here is impossible, they tell you doctor will phone 2 months after and then don’t bother or surpringly get cut off. As I said don’t come here expecting to see a doctor.

    Can anyone read prescriptions that have been ordered?? I even phoned up and repeated it again get to the chemist (3rd time) and once more wrong prescription ! What is going on in there ?? I am going on holiday and haven't got time for this and everything was ordered last week ???

    This practice used to bo great, getting an appointment for a GP now is practically impossible. Telephones go unanswered I've actually been in the practice when a relative has been ringing reception and watched whilst the phone has rung out for over 15 minutes, whilst staff are sat talking. You try using the online system but no matter the day or time you try there are no appointments. Why is it the nurses are still available and yet a GP isn't why is working from home still going on?

    I have been a patient of this practice all my life .I have to go for treatment every 3 months I get a reminder to make an appointment.i ring in non busy time i.e not early morn and I never have a problem getting through the reception staff are always helpful and try to fit appointments round my work. The GPS have always taken the time to listen .the nurses have always been friendly and caring the nurse I usually see is an advanced practice nurse she is always friendly but still professional,she is very knowledgeable and thorough and will additional information and advice if needed.i have always been treated with kindness and respect by all staff members

    Trying to even get an appointment with this practice is almost impossible. I asked for a GP consultation last week on behalf of my Dad and was offered an appointment for the middle of March (it's February at the time of writing this). Bearing in mind my Dad suffers from a range of health issues after suffering a heart attack last year, this is less than ideal. This surgery has got worse and worse over the years, from being an easily accessible surgery to the current state and it's a real shame.

    Dear John I am sorry to see that you have struggled to contact the Practice via the telephone. We are currently experiencing increased demand on our telephone lines and our patient services team has been working very hard to answer calls under the additional pressure. I recognise that difficulties in accessing the Practice can be extremely frustrating for our patients and I apologise unreservedly for any upset or inconvenience.     Phoned numerous time for an appointment with no answer or busy line. When finally through I had to take the next appointment available. Had an appointment on 3/1/23 for 10:50, got there at 10:35 so plenty of time. Didn’t get called in until 11:12 (22minutes after my time). To then be told I couldn’t have the treatment I was due to being 2 days over the threshold. However, when I said that I had been calling for a week prior to my next due treatment (23rd December), the nurse just said, I’m sorry I don’t know about that as I wasn’t here. So then had to arrange an appointment for 2 weeks time with some protocol follow to get my treatment!

  8. Review titled Prompt service

    I phoned the surgery at 8.35am on Friday morning (phone was answered very quickly) and explained that I had a very painful ear. I was told a Doctor would ring me between 2-5 pm. Was phoned back at 9am and spoke to a doctor, was asked to go to the surgery at 10.45 Seen, reassured and advised to make app for ear syringing in a week. I cannot fault the service I received and thanked both the Doctor and receptionists for their help and efficiency.

    Take forever to answer the phone.. ringing out for a good 20 minutes before pick up.. Tried to get prescription and refused due to lack of communication from receptionist. make an appointment and doctors don't ring you when they are supposed to. When ask receptionist they say may ring you .. they arnt sure as they are working from home .. Not at all an organised practice like it used to be ....
