    I have never explicitly given permission to this surgery to use my personal phone number to bombard me with messages, ranging from GP retirement information to opening hours. It is disgusting use of a private phone number, even after requesting it to stop. My only course of action is to now report this to the ICO for contravention of privacy laws.

    Having contacted Neston Surgery by telephone on the first day of them re-opening after the Christmas break, I was given a consultation that day. A blood test was arranged for the following day and I was immediately referred to the Gynae Service at Arrowe Park, where I was seen less than 48 hours after my initial GP consultation. My treatment culminated in major surgery. I can only give praise to all of the surgery staff involved in my care. My husband has had a number of health issues since we joined Neston Surgery about 2 years ago and he has always received excellent care too. All GP surgeries are very busy these days so having to call repeatedly sometimes to speak to clerical staff who can help is commonplace. I would highly recommend the e-consult service for the more 'tech-savvy'.

    Each time We try to contact the surgery we find ourselves in a lengthy queue. Yesterday I was 11th in the queue. I hung up because on the previous occasion when I needed a meds review I was 3rd in the queue and was still left hanging on for 17 minutes. We wanted to arrange a flu jab and having given up on your useless service, we phoned Boots. They answered right away but the first appointment was mid November which we fear is late for people in their mid 70s. This level of service is unacceptable and is consistent. It is almost impossible to contact you these days and it is bad enough for a routine matter when one id feeling OK. We dread to think how bad it would be if ill. Oh and our friends who are registered with a doctor nearby received a note that they were eligible for a covid booster got an appointment on the following day!! and were asked if they would like a flu jab as well. That is service - that is something you really do not seem to care about. We ahve been registered with you for almost 40 years and you used to be great. What a shame standards have fallen so far.
