Easy to appointment and nice staff..used to get same day appointments... have close by pharmacy so no need to go back to collect medicines

Easy to get appointments. Have parking area... Treated us with respect... doing good service. Have pharmacy close by so with one visit can get medication as well.

I recently visited the Morecambe Surgery and unfortunately had a very negative experience. The receptionist was rude and dismissive of my concerns, and when I attempted to get answers to my questions, she immediately labeled me as aggressive. I was shocked and taken aback by this response, as I had not raised my voice or exhibited any aggressive behavior. To make matters worse, I had an appointment scheduled for 11:00 am, but by 11:20 am, I had still not been seen by the doctor. As someone with a busy schedule, I found this delay to be disrespectful and rude. I did not come to the surgery to sit around all day and wait for medical care - I have a life to live and things to do. Overall, I was appalled by the service provided by the Morecambe Surgery. While I understand that working in a medical setting can be challenging, that is no excuse for treating patients with disrespect and carelessness. It's important for medical professionals to prioritize their patients' needs and treat them with kindness and empathy. Unfortunately, this was not my experience at the Morecambe Surgery. I sincerely hope that the staff at the Morecambe Surgery can learn from their mistakes and make improvements to ensure that all patients feel welcomed and respected. No one deserves to be treated with resentment or made to feel uncomfortable when seeking medical care.

Staff are helpful, kind and considerate. Although the practice has changed over the years, all of the staff still retain those core values of providing an excellent NHS service. The doctors are always amicable and understanding when I raise any concerns about my personal health, and they always manage to remain light hearted and leave me smiling at the end of every consultation, no matter how daunting it felt when I initially raised the issue! The reception staff are very welcoming, and have been brilliant advocates for me in the past - they make you aware of how you can get involved to improve practice and they always try their best to give you an understanding of times frames and where to turn if you need to chase things up. They have worked to find the most manageable solution for me, even in difficult situations when I have run out of medication and I'm away from my home address and e-consult has been a huge part of this - thank you Morecambe!

Given a telephone appointment after a week for an elderly patient as there are no earlier appointments and the doctor failed to call in the allocated time. Poor and unprofessional. Called the surgery to confirm the appointment on the day and the receptionist reconfirmed the appointment and commitment of the doctor to call between the times stated but did not follow through with it.

Morecambe is such a great practice, unfortunately I had to deregister as I have moved out of area which is such a shame as the drs and staff here are incredible and always have patients intentions at their core. They go above and beyond to meet patient expectations and are very professional doing so. Both clinicians and admin staff work extremely hard to ensure the smooth running of such a fantastic clinic and it shows! I had an urgent referral to a breast clinic which was sent to the service with urgency and was dealt with in a delicate manner from both sides, I am incredibly grateful for Morecambe as if my condition was left it could have escalated quickly and not in a good way!! So, Thank You Morecambe! Wish I was still able to be registered, it's been difficult finding a surgery to match the proficiency and professionalism that Morecambe have!
