    I would like to thank the Care Navigator who answered my call on a Friday afternoon and made the necessary arrangements for a prescription to be issued after the weekend in time for me to go on holiday. She rang me back the following Monday giving me a bar code in case my local pharmacy had not received the prescription (they had). In following up my request I felt this member of staff really cared. Thank you.

  2. Review titled No option to book beyond current day

    Found it odd that the surgery don’t allow patients to book appointments beyond the current day for non urgent appointments. It explains why it takes about an hour to get through because everyone has to call up every day for the same reason in the hope to get an appointment for that current day only.

    I have been with modality years. I find this surgery horrific to get through to. Its a joke. Ring exactly at 8am and it says already on 100 calls. All i need is a sick note. Cant go in as i can hardly walk with my bad knee. Its the same everyday

    I have tried ringing for appointments and getting nowhere,I have a chest infection,my daughter got a new born only a month old she been Tring for 3 weeks to get appointment due to her iron low was told by the hospital to make a appointment,I don't complain but something needs to be done maybe going back to own telephone reception might be a good idea

    I very rarely need to see a doctor but I do need to. I called in the morning to be told by an automated call system that I couldn’t wasn’t as there was already 100 people in the queue, I called back later after 50 minutes on the phone to be told there are no more appointments and to ring in the morning to be told that there are too many people in the queue, just make all doctors walk in surgeries and then we all know where we stand

    Dear Patient, I am sorry to see that you have struggled to contact the Practice via the telephone. We are currently experiencing increased demand on our telephone lines and our care navigation team has been working very hard to answer calls under the additional pressure. I recognise that difficulties in accessing the Practice can be extremely frustrating for our patients and I apologise unreservedly for any upset or inconvenience. You can also request an appointment by attending the Practice reception from 8am or using our online option. Kind regards Patient Experience Team
