Review titled Who is answering the phone?
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Joanne - Posted on 04 July 2024
Today 4/7 I was on hold for in excess of 1 hour trying to get through to reception, for 30 mins of this I didn’t move from position 6. I have to call to book blood tests for medication and also a B12 injection. In addition my HRT has still not been added to my repeat prescription so I need to speak to someone to order this. This was the third time today I called, as on both previous occasions the call was disconnected as too busy!!! I also need to stress that I made the call at 4pm! Is this really considered service! In addition the waiting music is horrendous and after, so far, in excess of 60 minutes of waiting, I have a horrendous headache!!!

Review titled Not a great doctor's
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by MR MATTHEW CLEAVER - Posted on 04 July 2024
I've been with millcroft since 2015 and the last couple of years have been questionable, and just lately I'm chasing my prescription week after week, constantly on hold, I feel fobbed off evreytime I speak to some one on the desk, and after saying it's urgent, they still prescribe the wrong strength, it's causing me distress, they say their to help but i feel let down. It should be straightforward. I contacted the doctors on 04/07/2024 and yet again waiting on my medication to be sorted.

Review titled GARBAGe Communication Process
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by ragga muffin man - Posted on 24 June 2024
You get a -10 for the way you handle your communication channels. Fill out a sick note form, then get told to wait 48 hrs for processing. Then get sent an email asking for 'more information' but don't give an option to reply to the same text message. Only way to communicate back is to ring direct where i am forced to wait in queue which could take anywhere from 10 minutes to over an hour. Why cant you call the patient direct and ask for 'more information'. Something that will take a lot less time to complete than going through all these stupid loopholes You also dont accommodate for people from older generations that are not tech savvy and dont know how to use technology to fill out online forms. This is p!!ss poor customer service

Cannot express our appreciation enough for our doctor and pharmacists . Between them they have supported my husband and I through what has been a very traumatic time. Highly professional and totally caring. Thank you all so much. Ann Crewe.

Review titled Extremely poor no chance of getting an appointment!!
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 08 April 2024
I’ve had to book a day off to go into surgery to get a link to book an appointment. I used this link to fill in details. Was then sent a further link which expired in 7 days to book a face to face appointment. I tried for days but no success. I tried to call surgery but kept getting cut off. I eventually a got through. I was told nothing could be done and the reason is because all appointments are full and this link would not work therefore I would have to go back to the first link and start again by answering questions. An absolute joke! No point having a dr surgery. I’m livid beyond words.

i am in a great deal of turmoil as to know what to do to access the appropriate care i need, i am in heart failure disabled and have just lost my husband infront of my eyes and could not get a appointment until the day of his funeral which is three weeks later. I dont know how this can be classed as acceptable. Im heartbroken and im suffering, when i contacted british heart foundation i was told there should be a care plan in place where i can get in touch with them. I have found the receptionist to be very good at times however i think there under immense pressure, when ringing we were 16th. Why is the practise taking more patients when the ones there cant access the help they need. There is obviously a big problem and people are suffering it is very sad. My husband was under immense pressure trying to help me and could not get the help he needed. Im just left devastated at what has happened to some of us within the health care system, i dont want to be a burden i worked in the care system for 20 years and unfortunately now find myself needing the help, i dont know what the answer is and i dont like blaming anyone but there is a lack of support for some and as far as i can see a lot of suffering.
