    Couldn’t get an appointment at my own GP. How ever much I tried . I was told to come here by receptionist. Best idea they’ve given me. So very pleased with the treatment Iv received this morning. From reception, to the 3 nurses I saw . They were so lovely and very caring. As were the other 2 ladys . Who’s names i cant remember , so sorry. I can’t thank you ladys enough. X

    Every member of staff I have encountered at the practice are polite, friendly and caring. The reception staff do an amazing job of managing appointments and patients concerns in a cheerful manner. My appointment was with a nurse practitioner and she is such a credit to the NHS. She listened to my concerns with kindness and I have never felt so heard and understood in a medical setting. She has such a warm and friendly demeanor which made me feel completely at ease when talking to her and she is so thorough when exploring patient’s concerns. Please pass on my thanks to her! I would highly recommend the practice to anyone. Although there are challenges in the NHS the team here do an amazing job with their patients.

    Despite numerous attempts to secure an appointment, I have encountered considerable difficulty reaching the appropriate healthcare professionals. The phone lines repeatedly redirect me to consult 111 for non-emergency cases or advise me to call 999 in emergency situations. Furthermore, my attempts to book an appointment through the website have proven to be equally ineffective. When I have managed to speak with receptionists, they have insisted on obtaining intricate details about my medical concern. However, I believe such information should be shared solely between the doctor and myself. I am sorry, but I feel uncomfortable disclosing personal issues to unqualified individuals who lack the necessary expertise. Moreover, the information displayed on the website's health records is inaccurate, as it fails to reflect my existing allergies. This discrepancy raises concerns about the reliability of other information within my records.

    Dear Mr Cummings, I am sorry you had a negative experience when trying to obtain an appointment in June 2023. Just for clarification if you have an urgent, on the day issue you should ring the Practice from 8am for a same day appointment and depending on availability you will be offered one with either an ANP or Junior Doctor. I appreciate that you do not wish to disclose personal information to a Receptionist, however they are merely trying to ascertain the nature of the problem so they can direct you to the most appropriate healthcare professional which may not always be a GP. Routine or non-urgent appointments, admin or medication queries can be obtained by going to our website and completing an AccuRx online consultation form. This will be triaged within 48 hours and allocated to the most appropriate person. Should an appointment be offered this will be done within 2 weeks from the date of submission of the form. I can see since you uploaded your review you have successfully managed to complete AccuRx forms and so trust you are comfortable in doing this now, however if you do have any problems or need any support please either ring the Practice after 10am or pop in and a member of staff will help you to complete the form. In terms of your concern about the accuracy of your medical records please pop into the Practice and we can help you with this.     What a great idea get you prescriptions online book appointments great! But it's not because it simply does not work constant requests to change your details because surprise it doesn't recognize the previous ones that it just asked for. Repeat prescriptions don't bother mind wasn't even online so had to phone to reorder in diabetic by the way. Over all this system isn't worth squat it may have been implemented to try and save time and Pressure on the practice but it's only served to raise my stress levels beyond belief. What a complete waste of time and taxpayers money

Sometimes this can be due to an issue with the online service provider, such as them requesting you to change account details frequently, which is unfortunately out of the practices control. If you are please able to present at Reception, our friendly Reception staff can assist you in setting up a new account and direct you to an alternative online provider if you wish.     After receiving a text and an attached letter saying that as of the 5th December this doctors will be able to pre book appointments seemed like a great idea. So on my way to collect my chest xray form i asked to book an appointment with a doctor for referral for surgery on some wisdom teeth as advised by my dentist, only to be told no that's not an option available, but to call on the day for an appointment. This coupled with the recent incident of me being mid asthma attack with underlying chest infection to be told you are unable to do anything and for me to go to the walk in or call an ambulance is leaving me quite concerned about Millbrooks abilities as a GP Practice. I don't understand why they say in correspondence that we can now pre book appointments when we cant and as I work from 8am i am unable to call in or phone on the day, so having to take half days leave just merely to try to get an appointment only to be told that no appointments are available is becoming a joke. Whats more annoying is being called the same day for an asthma review when i have tried to get an emergency appointment for my asthma that same day to be told no appointments available...
