  1. Review titled Poor service

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Had a very positive morning appointment with the doctor and he prescribed medication required to help with an infection. The prescription was to be sent to my nominated pharmacy. Tried to collect the prescription on several occasions that afternoon. Was informed the prescription hadn’t been received. Tried again the following morning but still no prescription received at my pharmacy. Apparently, after speaking to reception I was informed that they were waiting for the prescriptions to be signed off and they would see what they could do. I was feeling very poorly after such a long period of time with no medication to help. I find it absolutely shocking that after seeing a GP you are unable to get your prescription asap.

  2. Review titled Poor appointment booking

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Very difficult to get a response from 8.30am, after 20/30 minutes of holding on only to be told no appointments available. I used to be able to visit the surgery at 8.30am to book but last time was told this was not possible anymore and to ring for an appointment. What is the point of you can’t get an appointment on the phone. Another problem is there is very little follow up after diagnosis and I feel left in the dark about any illnesses. On the NHS app it always states patient advised, this is not the case. Blood tests do not always show all results and have poor follow up on any needed further tests. The system really needs a proper review. Currently I would say it’s not fit for purpose.
