    I got given a triage appointment through the pharmacy team regarding an issue I was having. They called the next day as per practice policy for that day, and it was within a time that suited me which was great. The pharmacist was very knowledgeable and very helpful, and helped me with an alternative medication to my problem. No issues what so ever.

    Saw very friendly and helpful unfortunately the antibiotics don't appear to have done the job finished course but problem still here what is the next step please

    This gp is doing well, when there is actually space on the triage list then usually you can get an appointment within a couple weeks, but the trick is actually getting an appointment... because it's often to busy that I would have to wait a long time before being able to see a doctor. This time I was lucky enough to go onto anima and there was an available slot. So I was able to get an appointment. But there was supposed to be follow up appointment for months ago which they never contacted me about so I had to follow up myself as the problem didn't go away. Some room for improvement but when you do get a slot to see the doctor they are always so kind and professional which makes up for the inconvenience of not being seen for months

    After requesting urgent prescription for my child, the doctors said we would need a routine appointment they gave me a routine telephone appointment 10 days after I requested the urgent prescription and never received the telephone call as per the doctors requirements. I send in photos of the issue but the no communication from the doctor isn’t ideal would have been nice to have the phone call or even a message to say the telephone call was no longer required!

    Reception staff are great, clinical team not great GP miss diagnosis on 2 occasions, rude nurse visiting our home, after calling 111 and promised a call back within 2 hours as an urgent call back from the surgery- still no call 24 hours later, would not recommend to anyone.

    I had a telephone appointment with the surgery following a request for an appointment to complete medication review. The call was very disappointing. I asked for advice ref a medication and was told they didn't know about that and I should probably speak to my consultant. I asked about concerns with weight loss, to be advised to do some things " someone they knew " had done as they had lost weight that way. Overall, I came away feeling i hadnt been listened too, I was upset and disappointed. I would not recommend this practice.

    I wanted to get my antihistamine that I have been prescribed all the time and they disregarded this and told me to go to the pharmacy when I can’t get the dosage unless it’s prescribed by a doctor. Tried multiple times and nothing. Absolutely useless GP

    It's a nightmare trying to get an appointment but if & when you get through the service is great. You can either attempt to call by phone from 8am & wait on hold for a long while or go to the surgery at 8am ( not before) & join a queue for a form. After completing the form, with all your personal information, you pass it to the receptionist to verify. It seems that if the receptionist thinks you are poorly enough you may get an appointment with a doctor but it isn't guaranteed.

We understand the frustrations caused for patients who contact and are unable to make an appointment, and we do want to provide assurances we are continuously making improvements to our access to support our patients, but we like all GP Surgeries, do not have the capacity to see everyone. In addition, if you require same day urgent medical attention, our GP's and Nurses have the capacity to see you and this is factored into our access planning.     There was a disconnect between my treatment at the rheumatology department of Southampton General Hospital and my doctor’s surgery. Prescribing documentation had not been sent to my doctors and I was unable to get the drugs that I needed. The receptionist at Whiteley and the prescribing team have been reliable, diligent and very friendly & professional helping me sort this out. The last heading up the prescribing team today (name starts with F) was so helpful and was instrumental in getting me the medication that I need. As usual the team go above and beyond. Thanks so much for your help
