Rated 5 stars out of 5

I am so grateful to my practice and in particular my Dr for their support. They will always try to do the best for you that they can despite being very busy and I can honestly say that my Dr today was absolutely wonderful, listened and took the time to understand what I really need.

I completed an online form for an appointment and was very grateful to be seen the same day. The GP I saw was fantastic, very understanding and helpful.

Review titled The Memorial Centre is the best...
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Linda Haines - Posted on 01 April 2025
l attended today to discuss ways to deal with anxiety and insomnia. The Doctor was empathetic, professional and provided a different number of solutions available. I truly felt like l was being listened to and treated with respect. Although very busy the reception staff were, as usual, very cheery and polite.

Review titled Terrible practice
by Anonymous - Posted on 24 March 2025
After an appointmentment last week, I was told if 8 felt worse to ring back and they would book a follow up appointment. I couldn't even get out of bed to make an appointment. There phone system says to speak to some press 3 which you do and then tells you there is 15 people in the que and now the call will be needed. As a type 1 diabet8c that needs medical help can't even speak to someone to get the help needed and by the time the phone is answered your told to phone back at 0800 the next morning and the cycle starts again. No help what's so ever. The online form opens at 0800 and by 0801 its closed so you can even fill in the form. Absolute waste of time. Unless your about to die you have no hope on seeing or speaking to anyone one.

Review titled Good Dr - disappointing systems
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Tim - Posted on 12 February 2025
I try not to visit the Gp if not absolutely necessary as I am conscious of the amount of people needing appointments. I have an ingrowing toe nail which just needs a referal but, was told I needed an appointment. The GP was excellent as well as agreeing a referal, she updated my meds which were overdue and picked up my follow up eye appointments had dropped off the system. She also took my blood pressure which was too high and arranged an immediate blood test. An appointment was made for later in the day for a shingles booster, ad I had not received a follow up appointment from the first jab. Unfortunately due to a systems failure the appointment for the 2nd jab (later that day) was cancelled due to an IT failure. The support from my GP was excellent. Unfortunately the systems are not so good.

Review titled Great experience
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Clare Corke - Posted on 07 January 2025
Would like to say how great my first experience with Memorial Medical Centre was today. There was a small que when I arrived which went down very quickly due to the 2 ladies on reception desk. I was directed to the waiting room, there was quite a lot of us in there but we all had a seats. My name was called very quickly so right on time for my appointment time. I saw Dr E (lady Dr the review won’t let me write her name) and wow she is just so lovely, I was having my coil removed so as you can imagine I was alittle anxious before going in to the room but after meeting her she made me feel so comfortable. Great experience Thank you

Review titled Fantastic and warming
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Malcolm Downes - Posted on 07 January 2025
Not only is the doctor I saw a warm kind person, she is clearly exceptionally good at her trade. I visited her twice, was at quite a low ebb and was welcomed with empathy and an unhurried consultation.I visit the surgery as least as possible, but by far this was the best outcome for me . Thank you to my doctor and all the desk staff who were equally understanding, friendly and helpful. Thanks again
