    Had my letter from d.v.l.a 2 weeks ago and only just able to get a phone appointment for a weeks time from when booked. Something so quick and easy and seems the same every time, gone down hill more with only online bookings

    Spent an hour in phone queue, appointment, now need to start the process again to obtain another! This is 2023! fix the problem!

    Dear Patient, Thank you for your feedback. We are aware of the huge demand on our telephones lines and have taken a number of measures to alleviate the issues patients are facing. We have installed more telephone options to divert calls from reception to the correct department and we have utilised online services to enable patients to book GP, COPD, Asthma and phlebotomy appointments via SystmOnline and the NHS app. We are excited to announce we are launching a new appointment triage system in June 2023 which we believe will significantly ease access to the practice and will alleviate the pressures on the telephone lines to support continuity of care. The details of our new system is on our website, telephone message and posters within the practice. We hope this make a positive difference very soon. Thank you. Chelmer Medical Partnership.

    Called at 8.45 got an appointment for 11.00 was back home by 11.20. The doctor was lovely and really listened to me. Couldn't ask for a better service

    the reception staff are fantastic they ask the right questions to understand what you actually need. I set up the online appointment booking, really easy to use and i got an appointment within two days. And no need to wait on the phone lines. The GP i saw was a trainee but i was happy they were asking directed questions and their assessment was signed off by the licensed GP.

    Waited 14 days for a telephone appointment. An hour and a half after the appointment time the phone rings and its the surgery. The phone was on my lap but before I could answer and after only two rings they hung up. Being an evening appointment on calling back you get the surgery is now closed answer machine message. Checked online and the appointment had already been marked as complete. Jokers!! Last time I went into the surgery for a test re a possible urine infection I got a text message with the results. No follow up or concern from the doctors as to what could be causing my symptoms as the test was negative. Terrible and a dereliction of duty on their part.
