After a mix up at the chemist a prescription l had put in 7 days ago hadn't been sent. I had run out of tablets as my prescription is normally filled within the week. I phoned the surgery and explained my predicament to the receptionist. She was very helpful and reassuring and said she would speak to the GP and it would be resolved by 4pm. I had a msg from the GP at 3pm to say my prescription had been sent to the chemist. I was so relieved. The receptionist was just so helpful.

-Very tough to get an appointment -If you ring at 830am it's so busy you may not even be placed in a call queue and you have to keep trying over and over again in order to get an appointment. -Sometimes when you do get through it goes silent and despite constantly trying to get communication from whoever is answering your call, sometimes it goes dead!

Their website, Google and their phones all have different opening times stated. After 54 calls and over an hour trying to get into contact with them, I was told to see a chemist. After that didn’t pan out I called back and asked what the next step would be, I was met with attitude from the receptionist and told it’s not their fault I should have contacted them earlier. Awful practice and awful staff!

The appointment was on time. Friendly and helpful. Fully explained the diagnosis and the reason for the prescription. A follow up/forward dated blood test form was also provided.

Appointment with GP 11.30 Friday 29/09. Told to take urgent bloods. Surprised he phoned me 17.20 told me to immediately go royal stoke they would be expecting me. Just over 2 hours later in a private room in amra on drip. Discharged to virtual ward the following day. Even hospital staff commented how on the ball my gp was catching kidney failure so early. I should also mention how kind, caring, and patience all reception and practice nurses are. I am very happy with the health care provided. meir park lysander road is my main practice though meir primary is also professional. I really do hope meir park continue to provide such a personal service to the local community.

My wife had chest pains but did not want to call 999. So we called the surgery the respons was call 999. Which we did. The ambulance came fairly promptly. My wife was take to surgery at1 30 in the morning. The advise probably save her life.
