Bring the phone from 8am. The time is now 8.35am . I know am Not going to get an appointment. My dad asked to get appointments for him my dad is 90 years old out and out joke the staff don’t help and keep saying phone back in the morning some of us have to work as well personal think the stafff need training

Out and out joke my dad is almost 90 years . Got text to ask to book an appointment as always with joy . Am working all day the people to take think I got all day same of have to work for a living

I received a message asking me to call the surgery to book an appointment with the practice pharmacist, so I called the surgery this evening; listened to the options given and followed the guidelines. I waited on the call for 2 Hours. I was Caller Number 10 to begin with, and when I finally was told that I was caller No1, and waited for another 20 minutes, the call was cut off. I looked on the Medicus website and saw that 'this GP surgery is currently accepting new patients.'

I had a dermatology appointment on 5th February 2024. Not having visited this entre before, I read the reviews, all of which were bad. I was therefore not looking forward to my visit. However my experience was vastly different to all the reviews I had read. |The receptionists were both very pleasant. I was seen on time by a very pleasant dermatologist doctor who checked me, took a photo of my problem to send to the surgeon she was recommending me to for a biopsy. By the time I arrived home, I had a text message from the NHS saying they had been trying to contact me to arrange an appointment for a biopsy. I phoned them back and now have an appointment booked for 12th February. I cannnot fault this service in any way.

They "don't care", I was told after calling them for 7 minutes while driving around the clinic to find parking spot. I went in 3 mins past my appt time to let them know of my problem. I came back few mins after finding parking spot but I was told I missed my appt. I informed that that I called while nobody picked up, that I couldn't find a spot to leave my car, after driving there for nearly an hour taking day off. I truly wish that dermatologist lost her job. She is not suitable to take care of people, she's only there for money. I will never used this clinic - worst NHS experience in past 20 years.

There is no point having a GP that you can't get an appointment with. I phone they have no appointments. I call 111 and they are told to give me an appointment or I'm directed to the urgent treatment centre. I actually have visited the urgent treatment, under the instruction of 111, more than my GP in the last 2 years.

Look at all the bad exoeriences patients have written on here and noone is doing anything about !! I am in pain for months and desperate to see a Dr about this but my appointment has been cancelled after waiting months to be see. They treat people with utmost disdain ,lives are irrelevant and so dispensable in the way NHS it us run. I took time off work to attend this appointment only to get the cancellation with 2 hours to go. The vet practice where I take my cat has more consideration for its patients than our NHS system. I am disgusted .

Dermatology here is awful, arrived on time and was told I was late, even though the receptionist agreed I was on time for the appointment. Going by other reviews, my experience is the norm. Very odd. Avoid.

Reception staff are extremely rude and unhelpful! One particular receptionist though it was ok to repeatedly reply with no comment" when asked a very simple question! This is perhaps not surprising as guilty people often use this response! This GP practice has seriously gone downhill since joining Medicus! It has been extremely difficult to get an appointment despite calling multiple times at 8am! The quality of the doctor's has seriously declined and even if you have a telephone appointment with them they fail to call! Have now left this practice, as there level of incompetence is dangerous and putting patients at risk!

Husband was taken to Whittington Hospital by Ambulance spent 7 days there and was discharged with a long letter advising must see doctor within a week as all B/P medications stopped needs a review due to Renal problems ,heart etc but must have b/p meds, spoke to them Friday said they would call probably Tuesday for an appt ,called them ourselves for this only to be told no appts call tomorrow at 8am was originally offered April appointment ,have the hospital letter clearly stating within a week Have had to call 111 to help out no wonder 111 and A&E are so busy unyet this practice still says they can take new patients when they can’t seem to deal with existing ones ,before going into Medicus couldn’t fault Dean House
