Received a diabetic check up and sadly am experiencing financial difficulty. The nurse not only collected a food bank parcel, she delivered it on her way home. I am simply to proud to have gone, but understand eating well helps my condition. really thankful and can not express my gratitude for the care and compassion. very approachable too. the current climate has caused inequality's in health but this nurse really helped and cared.

I have a blood form can you post to me csnt get to gp to collect or call up no credit left.and can I message in issue like Wilmslow Health Centre was woth does And hompes Chapel Centre contact form how come the gp doesn't do this pls

As a retired nurse you meet nurses and then you meet ‘great’ nurses, the nurse here is great and one of the best. She listens and it’s quite clear she cares, she’s good at what she does. Even though my breathing is well controlled at my copd check she took the time to discuss ‘how I am feeling’ and ‘how i’m keeping on the whole. Really appreciated this consultation and the care you gave, it’s clear nursing is still a vocation to you.

I have tried to make an appointment for over a week now without success! I politely asked the receptionist how I could see a GP as they have asked for me to make an appointment. The receptionist was very unhelpful and non caring. All I want us to make an appointment in advance! I was told to phone or call at the surgery at 8 am. How can I do that when I work full time and out if the area? The system fails the patient and needs to be reviewed.

Dear Patient As this feedback is anonymous, it's very difficult to understand your specific concern. As a practice we offer an array of ways to book appointments 1) Pre bookable 2 weeks in advance for GP'S, Nurse up to 6 weeks, and our PCN staff up to 4 weeks in advance 2) Online access 3) E-consult 4) Call on the day 5) Pop along to the surgery When calling the surgery our Care Navigators will ask you to provide a reason, this enables them to triage and place you with the most appropriate clinician and within a timeframe to assist you. Receptionists are helpful despite being busy The doctors are always helpful and approachable Recently had a diabetic appointment with the nurse who is pleasant, helpful and very warm simply a gem parking is sometimes problematic but its not the surgeries fault

Welcomed by a great nurse who listened and helped. They showed me empathy with no rush or constraints, I left with a plan of treatment, a small laugh and a much needed hug. Sorry I don’t remember your name room 1

I have called Meadowside Centre few times in March 2023 with different problems, some urgent , some not, but every time I have been helped and I felt understood; the receptionists are very warm and they try to do their best to help, doctors are also empathic and even on a phone appointment it was easy to talk to. Been impressed with the services provided and the professionalism showed. I would recommend Meadowside to family and friends. Only one thing to mention as a minus, sometimes the line drops in the middle of conversation and it seems that they can’t hear me… hopefully this will be fixed in the future. Apart from that, I can say there is a big difference comparing to the previous years, Meadowside getting more organised , more efficient and more welcome. Thank you to all Meadowside Centre team.

We have recently moved to the area and been overwhelmed by the service offered at Meadowside. The staff are out of this world, helpful and considerate. I was invited to a full health review prior to releasing my prescriptions. I had covid so the nurse rang me, went through all of my concerns and ensured I was taking the most appropriate medicines, made a referral to the doctor and reassured my concerns. Excellent all round service

I’ve always found the practice staff at Meadowside to be excellent, however yesterday the staff went above and beyond. Not only did they see my unwell oldest daughter within 1 hour of my phone call, they also went out of their way to accommodate my youngest daughter whose eardrum had perforated just before my oldest daughters appointment. The surgery was extremely busy and it was obvious both the admin and clinical staff were working over and above capacity to accommodate their patients. Thank you all so much for being amazing at this very challenging time.

10 minutes waiting to book appointment after lengthy intro, being first in the queue, on being answered the phone then dropped connection. This is a regular occurrence, even tried from outside the house, so bad I had my phone lines checked, no problems there. I have waited 20 mins from 8am, the lines being engaged, when I finally connected I was 1st in the queue - how can that be? The phone ‘system’ at Meadowside leaves a lot to be desired!
