I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Community Specialist Practitioner at Maywood Surgery. I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the level of service I received. From the moment I walked in, the practitioner exuded kindness and patience, making me feel genuinely cared for. Not only did she address all of my concerns, but she also took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. It's rare to find such dedication and compassion in healthcare professionals these days, and I am truly grateful for the exceptional experience I had. I highly recommend this practitioner to anyone in need of expert care and support. She needed to ask my doctor before proceeding with something and I even received a detailed message the same day too. Thank you so much.

Caring staff. Same day appointment. Relieved to be given referral to specialist. This is a welcoming professional smooth running orderly practice with a short waiting time to speak to receptionist.

Since I registered recently as a new patient with various health problems I have found staff at the practice to be professional, caring and helpful. I am glad I chose the Maywood sugery. Its nice to feel that I'm in good hands.

Just recently I’ve been in contact with the Gp a lot. They have been amazing very helpful. I didn’t feel I was a burden.

I had to take my elderly mother (with early stage dementia) in for two appointments. One to have a blood test, which she hates, and one for a GP appointment. Firstly the receptionist managed to book the appointments one after the other, secondly the phlebotomist was wonderful with Mum, talked to her, not to me over her, and put her at her ease so much she hardly noticed the needle. And last but not least the GP was so considerate and respectful of Mum, again, talking to her not over her to me, making sure she understood and was happy with the proposed treatment etc. She really made Mum feel included in the discussion not just the subject of it. M has retained much more of the information and experience because of that.
