Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent coil fitting appointment. We’re happy to hear that you felt the doctor was patient and explained everything so well. We understand that procedures like this can cause anxiety, and it’s lovely to know that the support from the nurse, who held your hand, was a great comfort to you. It's our goal to make sure every patient feels as comfortable and supported as possible. Your positive comments will be passed directly to the doctor and nurse involved.

Review titled Quick triage and appointment
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I used the online triage system and the response from this was within 10 minutes with an appointment that same afternoon. I had a face to face appointment with the Dr, who listened to everything I said about my symptoms. She also supported me with further questions about my symptoms too which was reassuring and allowed her to make a diagnosis. I felt reassured throughout and very trusting in the diagnosis and advice that I was given. A huge thank you again to the Dr and the practice.

Poorly child... so doctors send me to pharmacy which is fine I no they are busy . Pharmacy fantastic but concerned a chest infection. So I ring doctors to tell them and pharmacy sent there response to ... only to not be seen by a doctor and palmed off . Never received this from the doctors before so I am disappointed . They told me the pharmacy have a duty of care so wheres the doctors duty of care????

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry to hear about the experience you had when your child was unwell. It must have been very worrying to be told by the pharmacy that they suspected a chest infection and then to feel that you were not being seen by a doctor. We want to reassure you that our doctors always have a duty of care, and we am sorry that you were left feeling it was absent. When our clinical team triages a patient and refers them to a pharmacy, it is the start of a process, not the end. We rely on clear communication between the pharmacy, the patient, and ourselves. It sounds like in your case, this communication broke down, and for that, we apologise. Your feedback has highlighted a need for us to review how we manage cases where a pharmacist has raised a new or urgent concern after our initial advice. We hope your child is now feeling much better. We appreciate you letting us know about this, as it helps us see where our system needs to improve.

Review titled Very disappointed

As a patient with emphysema and asthma I was diagnosed with a lung infection. Having finished my antibiotics and still having lung pain, struggling with breathing and coughing I made an appointment. I was told you can’t have any more antibiotics. You’ve had two lots and the last course will still be working. I thought fair enough so said “If my condition worsens over the next few days I’ll get back in touch” to be told “no don’t”. I am still no better and it worries me that if it does get any worse I have no back up. Maybe to have been offered a rescue pack of steroids and antibiotics would have been a good solution.

I was very happy with the reply to my 1 star review telling me how their patients were important and to get in touch at my earliest convenience. I emailed the address given within a couple of hours on Friday. It’s now late Tuesday afternoon and I still haven’t been contacted.

Review titled Wow awful timing!

I came in for a minor surgery. Having issues previously I turned up 15 minutes early also. I was then left waiting an additional 30 minutes! You turn up late they don’t see you you turn up early they don’t see you any earlier. Any apologies or explanation. Just rude!

Dear Patient, Thank you for sharing your feedback, we sincerely apologise for the frustration you experienced. We understand how important it is to be seen promptly, especially when you've arrived early. Unfortunately, not all minor surgeries are straightforward, and complications can sometimes arise, leading to delays. However, we recognise that we should have communicated this to you more effectively. Your concerns about the wait time and lack of communication are noted, and we will review this with our team to ensure a more efficient and respectful experience for our patients in the future. We truly appreciate your patience and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a better experience next time. Many thanks, Lindsay Practice Manager
