    Your Review: I became a patient of this Medical Practice in 1988 and have received exceedingly good care throughout. I consider that I am responsible for my health and wellbeing, I maintain my weight, eat a healthy diet and I exercise regularly, hence I have had few occasions when I have needed to consult with the medical centre. When I have required care, all of my interactions with reception, nursing and clinical staff have been extremely positive. Thank you to all members of the team. However, I do agree that your telephone and appointment system is overstretched and it raises concerns for elderly patients who may need to contact a GP

    Many thanks for taking the time to provide feedback to the practice and thank you so much for the lovely comments you have made, we are glad that you are happy with the care and service you receive from us. I will ensure that your thanks are passed on to the whole practice team. I would like to also assure you that we are aware of the increased pressure on our current telephone and appointment system and that these are not working as effectively as we would wish. We are currently looking into alternative solutions to try and improve these for our patients and will hopefully have a solution early in the New Year. Once again, thank you for your lovely feedback.

    You ring at 8am on the dot to be number 38 in the queue yet the phone lines don’t turn on till then ?! You then get thru around 855 to be told there’s no appointments that’s if you don’t get cut off while wasting your life in said queue hoping to get an appointment ! They are more concerned about you having covid or a possibility of it being covid than they are actually getting you a face to face appointment ! Then you get fobbed off with no appointments go to the walk in centre ! Now the surgery is within walk in distance and this time of year is hard for everyone so to assume you can afford to make your way there rather than the surgery with a poorly child is absolutely disgusting ! You would sooner have 4-10 hour wait in the walk in centre spreading germs or over load a&e than give patients a 10 min appointment No matter how many times a week you ring or what day you ring it’s always the same response from the receptionist that think she’s the doctor

    Rang this morning to try and make an appointment but after choosing the appointment option the phone beeped a few times then went dead.What sort of service is this .Had to ring 111 and get appointment at A&E and they wonder whyA&E is so busy .Totally disgusting. The practice should be ashamed.
