    Have been a patient since birth some 31 years ago. Requested a simple sick note after being in hospital which has never been an issue in the past. This time I was told to ask my consultant- when I returned saying my consultant said this should be done by GP they passed the buck again. This time to the ward in hospital where I was admitted. This despite my sick note request coming 3 days after my discharge as this was the 7 days self certification end and GP hand over to the practice being completed 3 days earlier when I left the hospital. This on top of prescription requests for my much needed stoma supplies going unanswered or unapproved without reason given means I wouldn't recommend this surgery.

    In October 2024 I had diarreah for a number of weeks. I was concerned about having cancer and asked my GP about having a colonoscopy. I was advised to have a number of tests before considering that more invasive prospect. Although I worried about any delay, cancer being probably the most feared illness, My GP was correct and hapilly it was ruled out. My GP also had to deal with a very concerned daughter who rang the surgery without my knowledge, saying that she disagreed ( or words to that effect?) with any delay by not offering the colonoscopy immediately in the circumstances. Like many humans, the fear affected both hers and my judgement at that time. Every GP and other staff that support patients are to be commended and I'd have no hesitation in reccomending this practice to others.
