I was just so grateful for the care I received and the fact my GP went out of their way to secure the treatment I needed in the quickest time frame.

A Doctor phoned me unexpectedly to discuss my cough and what treatment might be best. Went on to discuss another problem as well, looking up past notes while on the phone. Very kind of a busy doctor to phone and spend all the time needed.

Really polite and friendly receptionist, he helped me arrange a review for my son who was unwell this morning. The GP was fantastic, I have consulted with her before and always find her very knowledgeable and understanding. Thank you.

Always have a very positive experience when dealing with the practice from making Dr and Nurse appointments to ordering prescriptions and admin support. The Receptionist I spoke to recently was very efficient, helpful and friendly and the Practice Nurse looking after my parents was excellent as usual.

In January this year, I received a diagnosis for an extremely painful condition I developed, Trigeminal Neuralgia. Later, I joined the Trigeminal Neuralgia association and was shocked to hear that most members had not been diagnosed for years! I feel very lucky that the doctor I saw diagnosed me within a day! This meant I started the required medication straight away. Follow up appointments ensured I saw a consultant Neurologist at the hospital within 6 months, and brain scan a week later. I am regularly monitored with blood tests and a change of medication to reduce side effects. I am so grateful for the efficiency of the doctor who diagnosed me. I received another phone consultation this morning with the doctor who diagnosed me and thanked them for their expediency.

After 3 weeks of illness and a downturn in breathing capacity and confined to bed, my wife contacted the practice to say I would not be able to keep the next days appointment but I needed to be seen. The receptionist said cancel that appointment and make another one. My wife said I need to be seen, she said phone 111. She said they won’t come out, the receptionist said you’ll have to phone for an ambulance. I am not at the stage where I need an ambulance. In the end after prevarication the receptionist confessed that their doctors do not do home visits. After more than 40 satisfactory years with this practice it’s hard to criticise. They still have some good doctors and(some) nice receptionists ( not the ones who treat you like the enemy). However the idea that you cannot get a home visit seems unthinkable.

Straight forward - appointment, urgent blood tests and referral. All within a couple of weeks. Couldn't have asked for a better service. Many thanks.

I have struggled with a painful knee for so long & finally decided to make contact with my GP practice..I was offered an appointment with the Physiotherapist within 2 weeks.. he was brilliant , so thourough , kind , gave me great advice & recommended a steroid injection, he said the GP would contact me ... I couldn't believe it when the same evening I got a text message from the GP with an appointment for this in 8 days time ! Honestly, you wouldn't even expect that level of service from Private health care. Amazing NHS care I'd say . Thank you.

I asked for a morning phone call due to work restraints. Only to be told doctor was running over. It takes at least three days to get a reply to an e consult, then you can’t have your phonecall at the requested time. Terrible service, it’s like GP’s are a protected species and patients don’t matter at all.

Review titled Hard to speak with a GP

It is very hard to speak with a GP or get any advice E consults are only available 8-12pm from Monday to Friday so they are no good for working parents, teachers etc). The E consults are also often completely turned off. I waited 8 days to speak to a GP after submitting an E-consult for my young sick child. I had to go to the walk in.
