I had a face to face appointment booked with a GP. It had been booked weeks earlier. 1 hour before the appointment, I received a text message saying the face to face had been cancelled and a telephone appointment would be carried out instead. I was slightly annoyed, but what can you do? I waited for the call….. 2 hours after the scheduled time, I called and asked why hadn’t I been called. I was told that telephone appointments are not given a time or day and that they will call you sometime. So, not really an appointment then - just a random call. I said I want happy with this as I had things to do and requested a GP call me ASAP but was told the GP was out for lunch. How about calling your patients that you have a pre arranged appointment with before going out to lunch? Firstly, it’s common courtesy, secondly, try that stunt in the private sector and you’ll be out of a job. Finally, any last minute changes should be done initially with a phone call, text messages should be a last resort and used only if all other means of communication have failed. Lazy.

ordered my prescription on Sunday20th and collected from chemist today. Well pleased. I was having problems with signing into patient access, staff on reception suggested I order through the surgery and it works.

Review titled Very professional caring staff, both medical and clerical

Over the past couple of weeks I've seen a GP, a Nurse and a Healthcare Assistant and cannot fault the level of care I received from any of them. I'd been suffering with an issue for several weeks and thanks to the actions of the GP we're heading in the right direction and I'm feeling much better. It's not as easy to get an appointment as it was pre Covid but the Reception staff are very compassionate and nothing like the stereotypical GP Receptionists that others complain about in other surgeries. They are very approachable and always try to resolve any issues possible. I'm really pleased we chose this surgery.

I had an absolutely awful experience at my prev dr surgery. Marshalls Cross Medical Centre have restored my faith in GP services. The receptionist is amazing, so helpful and went out of her way to help me with a problem I had. All contact and requests are dealt with quickly and efficiently. Really pleased with everything. All staff are exceptional, very well done you should all be proud of yourselves. When I hear about other practices in this Borough and how difficult it is to get appointments and face to face appointments. I feel lucky to be a part of Marshals Cross Practice, as it’s always a positive experience. I’m not a regular patient, but in times of needing the service, I have never been disappointed, thank you for everything you do.

staff are always helpful and offer alternatives if appointments are not available. have been able to see someone when needed or received a telephone call to discuss. would recommend to anyone looking to move
