I sent a query through the NHS App to ask about seeing my immunisation history and within about 10 mins I had a message to say my profile on the app had been updated and I went back in and my whole history was there. Great service from Marple Cottage!

About a year ago, I changed practice to Marple Cottage Surgery and I am so glad I did. The doctors, nurses and reception staff are professional, efficient and really care.

This practice is excellent. I’ve been registered with it since 2014. I have found it easy to access appointments and have received thorough, considered care. The quality of preventative care/wellness checks proactively offered for potential age related illnesses is impressive. The practice is well run, efficient, professional and friendly, constantly updating systems to conform with current standards, for instance the comprehensive online services accessible via the NHS app to make appointments, access personal health records etc. Together the drs and nurses offer a wide range of specialisms supported by helpful reception staff. Recently I have had several appointments with two different drs for different issues, one relating to women's health and one relating to cholesterol and genetic conditions. Both have listened carefully and discussed options fully with me and ensured speedy follow up appointments when needed. I feel privileged and reassured to know my health is being cared for collaboratively by a high quality practice.

I have been registered with Marple Cottage Surgery for over 30 years and can honestly say I have never had a bad experience. From receptionist, Nurses and Doctors who are always helpful and professional in every way. Doctors listen and do not rush you even if they are running behind schedule. My Doctor today was running behind and apologised for this, had a thorough examination, bloods and 2ww referral. Feel very lucky to have such a great GP practice. I work in the NHS and constantly take calls for my consultants patients advising me they cannot get an appointment with their GP either by phone or face to face. Well done!

Friendly and helpful reception team, the doctors that I have seen are all brilliant and really listen to my needs. I've always managed to get an appointment when needed. The new building work looks fab and this now includes a lift which is great for people with mobility issues like myself. Brilliant gp surgery.

I had occasion to phone regarding advice for accidental overdose of medication and symptoms. Having explained the symptoms and supplying the practice with photographic evidence I received a very swift message from a doctor giving reassurance and practical advice. Having taken the advice my symptoms have eased and almost gone (they will take time to go completely). Cannot praise the service enough.

Always able to get through on phone and arrange an appointment either in person (where appropriate) or via video. Receptionists are always efficient at dealing with enquiry and directing to correct person, and extremely professional in their manners. Drs and nurse engage in conversations to identify problem and fully discuss solutions, and I always feel listened to and that I my views are taken into account. Emails/ texts are dealt with efficiently when there is no need to see a Dr. Superb practice!

After being tested positive for Covid very recently, I sent my positive LFT info to the NHS web site . Later that day I received a call from my doctors reception. He said he was checking up to make sure all was ok with myself, which at the time I was. Whilst self medicating after 3/4 days of isolation, my condition worsened to the point that my daughter called the surgery for advice. She spoke to one of the receptionists who was most helpfull and pleasant. Not shortly after I received a call from one of the doctors, but as soon as I took the call, I was unable to stop coughing for a considerable time, and the poor girl stayed on the line until I was able to speak. We had a long conversation and ended with her saying she would call back later that day. It was actually one of the more senior doctors that returned the call, with knowledge of my medically history. Again we had a long chat and I was given a couple of options if my symptops didnt improve. I have to say Marple Cottage Surgery and all its staff have to be, one of the most caring group of professionals.
