    I was late putting in my prescription due to illness and had to rely on a family member . Within a couple of days I would run out of certain medication I need to take. I called the surgery on the 3rd day of the prescription going in and apologised I was late getting it in but I was desperate for the medication. I was told the prescription had been issued but needed signing by the doctor and to ring back at 3pm. I rang back only to be told it still hadn’t been signed.That member of staff said she would send a message to the doctor and keep an eye on the prescription to be sure it was done. Today a family member called into the chemist only to be told it’s not come in !!!!!. So 2 days without medication. All this hassle for the sake of a signature. Unbelievable no compassion. I can remember when lavington had one doctor and he did everything and even called back to check on patients at home. What’s happened ! It’s so sad you no faith anymore.

    Had x-ray in August,waited 7 weeks for result,had text to say x-ray was abnormal,no further action.Concerned, rang surgery and told I can book a phone call in 3weeks time,no amount of pleading had any effect on receptionist,saying it's the only option I have.Had call but didn't get to phone in time,rang reception and was told he will Call again,he didn't ,waited all day .Rang reception next morning,told nothing for that morning ring at 2pm,I did and told nothing that day,told them it's now 10 weeks since x-ray and told abnormal and need to talk to doctor,offered call next week,was getting upset,she said if it was serious I would have had a call. Was so frustrated declined call and rang off,totally unexceptable . Marion Pankhurst
