My husband waited nearly 3 weeks for an appointment with their improved access team at ludham . When he got to the surgery he was told the appointment had been made for Acle surgery. They had made an admin error but I could have an appointment at Sutton surgery tomorrow morning. Why could he not get an appointment here in the first place instead of having to wait all this time. We live in Sutton so why would he want to go to Acle surgery. He has waited nearly 3 weeks in pain when he shouldn’t have to

Naturally I am a difficult person to take blood from and on both occasions where it’s been tricky the nursing staff at Ludham and Stalham Green surgeries have been wonderfully kind and caring in persevering with what can be a stressful situation. They put me at ease immediately and had my full and complete trust- a wonderful team :)

When I first registered 4 years ago I thought I had hit the jackpot. Could arrange a same day appointment etc. Now? Earliest time I can speak to my G.P. on a telephone consultation is a month! See the practice nurse for blood test? 2-3 weeks! Yet the latest news is that they're setting up a "Sunshine Cafè" for social gathering of patients!! Are you kidding?

Good Morning, Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback and I'm sorry you feel dissatisfied with our service. The clinical team make a triage decision on when we can see you, based on the information given on appointment request forms. We still offer on the day appointments for patients who are acutely unwell. If you feel the triage decision has been made incorrectly, please contact the surgery so we can review this for you. We are pleased to say we have a very skilled HCA joining our team 07.05.24 which will relieve some pressure on our nursing team and the wait for blood tests. We are also currently recruiting for an additional Practice Nurse. We sincerely apologise for the wait for appointments whilst we recruit. Regarding this Sunshine Cafe, this is held at Stalham Green surgery on a Thursday afternoon when the practice is shut. The clinical team are not involved in hosting the cafe and therefore the number of appointments will be unaffected. Please contact Megan Buck (Assistant Practice Manager) or Laura Holder (Practice Manager) if you would like to discuss your concerns in more detail.
