I went to the practice on Monday expecting to be faced with delays in seeing a doctor and generally an unhelpful attitude. This was not the case I was dealt with in an efficient, helpful manner and came away with various wheels in motion to satisfy my needs. I thought it necessary to write this as the Clinic is probably under severe resource constraints and regular criticism can be unhelpful and demoralising.

Over the last year or so, while going through some health problems, I have been very impressed by the care from a particular young doctor who always goes out of their way to make sure I am OK, phone me when I need to discuss something and make suggestions to improve my care. I am grateful for this dedication.

I am extremely lucky to be registered at the Longcroft Doctors Surgery for 27 years+. Luckily I am relatively healthy but today I had an emergency situation. I phoned the surgery this morning and explained my dilemma to the friendly receptionist. I was offered an appointment at 14:00hrs this afternoon. Seen, listened to and treated by a great doctor, prescription sent to the Chemists in Banstead on line then and there, collected the prescription and was back where I belong by 15:00hrs.😀. I really appreciate the fact that during a stressful and difficult situation you were there for me. Thank you for all Team Longcroft. Wishing you well. JW.

Having recently moved to the area I registered with Longcroft Clinic. My experiences so far have been all very good. They helped me with the registration, the pharmacist reviewed any medication I needed, and the reception staff have all been very helpful and pleasant. An appointment I recently had was very thorough and a prescription I needed was sent directly to a pharmacy in town and was ready within minutes.

Review titled appalling booking experience for a routine test

Received a letter requesting me to book a routine test. Eventually (day 3) managed to fill in the details online to book, having tried several times by phone as well as every day online. I was actually called a short while later that day to see if I could make a cancellation that day but due to work commitments I was unable to. I received an appointment by text which suited me, followed a few days later by an amended one which was slightly inconvenient but I planned my day around it. I arrived to check in on the day to find I had no appointment and had even missed an appointment the previous week that I had had no notification of. I was then offered an appointment later that day for which I requested a text confirmation and was assured it would be sent. Guess what...it wasn't. I was therefore unsure if this had actually been booked. I managed to get through by phone to find it was confirmed, so raced out again, leaving half my lunch. This time I could check in, to an appointment overrunning by 14mins - try 35mins in the end, for an appointment lasting less than 5 minutes. Getting jabs for holidays and the associated chit chat took the extra 20 mins, clearly audible in the waiting spaces outside.
