I have a problem with my knee and it will need surgery. I can only get phone consultations. How they can see a knee over the phone I will never know. Today 21st off March 2025 they are close for "team building". Never mind the team building, they need to see their customers/patient's. Just think how many people are in pain or suffering an extra day because of team building. It's on a Friday so will possibly have to wait until Monday. They will then have to call and try to get on of the limited appointments available. If you get one you will need to try to find a parking space on their car park. If they car shared then some of the 30 places taken up by the staff would become free. God knows what the residents of Long Lane think of the traffic and parking blocking the road most mornings. I understand that they provide a necessity service for patients. I would never have a go at them because they are trying to do the best they can however the patients do not see any benefits from team building. Training should be done out of hours. It's not rocket science. Please accept my opinion as a suggestion. Stay safe and well all PA

I had booked an telephone appointment. Gp should call me about my test results between 10:20-12:20. They never did it. Is that the way of treating patients?

I have previously very rarely consulted the practice, but became concerned about a condition that I had developed. The navigator (receptionist) I initially spoke to at the surgery could not have been more helpful, asked me several questions and arranged for me to be seen within 2 hours and a series of tests (bloods, ECG etc) were carried out. All staff and the GP I saw could not have been more helpful and professional. I have been very impressed and would score my treatment as 10 out of 10.
