I recently returned to the UK after 12.5 years abroad having been treated for cancer and high blood pressure abroad. I have had nothing but good experiences upon my return to London Fields Medical Centre. The doctors were proactive in getting to know my medical history and pointing me in the direction of specialist care as we monitor my cancer situation. They also have stayed on top of my blood pressure situation -- not just prescribing the medications I need but properly monitoring me to ensure I'm on the right dose. They have even provided a lot of helpful tips to help me come off the meds -- which was not my experience in the United States where I was living. The main thing I have noticed about every interaction I have had in the 8 months I've been back is how much everyone on staff -- doctors, nurses, front desk staff -- seems to care about me / the patients. I have been surprised and delighted. Huge thank you to the team at London Fields Medical Centre.

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my disappointment and dissatisfaction with a recent call I made to your office on 07/02/2024, at approximately 9:30 morning. The purpose of my call was to request a doctor's note, a matter of some urgency for me. Unfortunately, during this call, I was informed that I would need to call back the next day to have my request addressed. This response was both surprising and inconvenient, as it delays necessary paperwork and adds to my stress during a time when I am already dealing with health concerns.I understand that your team is likely facing high demand and numerous challenges, especially given the current circumstances. However, I had hoped for a more supportive and efficient service, particularly when it comes to essential documentation like a doctor's note.I am reaching out to request a more immediate resolution to my request for a doctor's note and to suggest that the process for handling such requests be reviewed to ensure that patients' needs are met promptly and efficiently. My hope is that my feedback will contribute to improving the service for all patients.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I had a problem at the pharmacy with my repeat prescription so I went to the surgery. The problem wad sorted and I got my medication

As always I have had a fantastic experience with London fields medical centre this evening , I can not recommend them highly enough. My family has been registered for at least 16 years. I was able to book an appointment easily at a time that fitted around work and motherhood. The staff are always helpful and friendly and I recognise the same faces year after year which says a lot about the running of the practice. My doctor is fantastic, a lovely person as well as efficient, trustworthy and clinically very experienced. So grateful.

My family member is cared for through this service and the whole team there are excellent, whenever it has been necessary, it was always possible to get a telephone appointment the same day. The doctors do make time when it's an emergency, so grateful to them for that. every doctor has been thorough, sensitive and supportive. Their admin team also go above and beyond. I just want to say thank you, it is really appreciated.

Both myself and my partner are cared for through this service and the whole team there are excellent. We can always get a telephone appointment the same day, and when it has been necessary, a face to face appointment. Like everyone I wish all appointments could be face to face, but this system does work nonetheless. Have been at this practice for over 20 years and each and every doctor has been thorough, sensitive and supportive. They are all extraordinary and go above and beyond. I just wanted to say thank you, it is really appreciated.

I tried to book an appointment for my blood test but is look like is very difficult. The system they is completely wrong!!! they take only appointment for the same day .I feel that they do not work for our good health

I am very grateful to this practice for the care I and my late husband have received over many years. Thank you to every member of staff I have encountered - Receptionists, Administrators, Nursing Staff and Doctors. Alas I now must leave as I am moving from London. I recommend London Fields Medical Centre highly.

I do not like the ‘new normal’ where, in the first instance you discuss your health concern with a gp over the phone. However, I was proven so wrong about this when I was called back by a locum gp at the london fields practice. The gp listened and acted swiftly to my concern. She pledged to refer me asap to a specialist unit at my local hospital trust. Later in the day I had a call from the hospital to say they had a cancellation and would see me the next day. I am very grateful to her for her response and have always found the surgery to be welcoming and accommodating. I rarely write a review but I really wanted to say a big thank you to the surgery and my sincere appreciation to nhs frontline services.
