Went to see the Dr for some anxiety medication as I have dementia and my anxiety levels are through the roof. I saw a lady doctor and she was lovely, very caring and explained everything to me. The reception staff are really nice too, especially the young man. He is very helpful. We have been with the practice for over 50 years and have always been pleased with it. Thank you lodge road surgery.🙂

my social prescriber is truly amazing she spends time talking to me and most important listens to me I feel this is very important to me as I have no faith in Dr's I feel that I don't get that one to one from a gp where else my social prescriber has time and makes me feel like I'm the important one This social prescriber has helped me through my traumatic journey and I can't thank her enough for what she has done for me.when I need weekly calls I get them the social prescriber has made me appswhen I have had difficulties or unable to do so because of having a low day and if it wasn't for her over the last few years I wouldn't be here the support and kindness this individual gives me is totally amazing she is truly a star and I look forward for my weekly calls from her she motivates me uplifts my mood and guides me thank you so much

I recently missed an appointed due to a death in the family and the reception team automatically got in touch with me and rescheduled a convenient appointment for me their staff are kind,friendly and professional absolute god send these people are since joining this surgery my health has improved alot.

They are very polite and approachable and always willing to guide you if you are unsure of any uncertainty They will call back with advice and any appointments I am Diabetic my nurse is very helpful and I tend to get most of my advice from my nurse and my doctor has dealt with my concerns promptly nothing is to much for the doctor and the staff at the Lodge Road Surgery The gentlemen who works there is very helpful and is approachable and his person centred approach is commendable Since joining the surgery on Lodge I have found all the staff very helpful and I would recommend this surgery to my friends and family

Whenever I call the surgery, very helpful and courteous staff who answer my needs. I generally get an appointment on the sane day even if i stress its urgent. Very helpful with prescription needs. I would definitely recommend this surgery to family and friends.

I tried 2 days to get an appointment because I was feeling worse pain and vomiting during pregnancy. They said call early pregnancy unit. Early pregnancy unit said call 111. 111 said call your gp again. Receptionist at gp said today no appointment available. call tomorrow at 8.00 am. Next day, I connected call at exact time, I was only 2nd person in the queue but waited 55 mins to get an answer. But then my call was rejected. This happens most of the time. But how this can be done with a pregnant lady who is suffering with pain and scared about the health of her baby. Really concerning. If not have appointments for such situations then what’s the purpose of surgery?

I've always told people how good lodge road surgery but this morning the receptionist ignored me for a long time then abruptly told me to check in with the computer. Firstly, years ago I was told this is optional. Secondly I had gone in there to collect a bp testing kit. The other receptionist told me I should wait for a phone call before coming in. I had not been told this and ironically the machine was ready. A smile and pleasant attitude costs nothing. Some patients will be suffering with depression and a lot of people will see nobody else during the day. I am a full time carer and this experience certainly didn't help.

i phoned this morning .was stuck in a queue by the time you reach the end no appointment left .all they say is go to a walk in centre or call back tommorow 8.00 .call back tommorrow still cant get one
