    Every time I call in with something they refer me to the pharmacy even if I’m in a lot of pain. I work in a pharmacy so when I call in I know there’s nothing the pharmacy can do for me. The medical queries are handled by the receptionists and while I appreciate they are trying to filter out urgent patients it’s very frustrating when I know I need to see a doctor and they just keep saying to go to the pharmacy. I uploaded a online consultation and I thought it’s seen by the doctors and they reply as other surgeries do, but instead the receptionist looks at it and she decides if you go the pharmacy or to the doctor which I am not happy with at all. I had sent pictures of my problem in this online consult. Overall I feel my experience here has been very poor I’ve been here for 24 years and it’s always been poor unless I see a specific doctor.

    I’ve just called the practice to book an appointment and as I have a stammer it takes me a while to get my words out, I informed the receptionist of my stammer which she ignored she then went on to say “I can’t help you if I can’t understand what you’re saying”. This has also happened before it’s now put me off calling the practice when I really need an appointment because of the rude uneducated staff!

    Called in to the surgery a couple of weeks ago to obtain a Diabetic diary. Of all the staff in reception nobody knew what I was talking about after about 15 mins a young gent said I think this is what you want and handed me an A4 sheet of paper for blood pressure monitoring for 7 days. I suggest some training for staff is required! Can you also please explain why it is now extremley hard to log in and order repeat prescriptions when your web site attempts to get me to sign up to Lloyds online Pharmacy! This is not good for the local chemist who stand to lose a lot of money.
