Very unsympathetic and dismissive, over an hour on hold to receive a very rude response from the receptionist!

Luckily I hardly need to visit the GP, however I do have to visit with my children. The receptionists are sincerely polite and courteous, the passing GP nurses always have a smile and say hello and the GPs are amazing and we are all so lucky to have you all. Just wanted to thank you for being my surgery and hanging in there in these unprecedented times. Tell the moaners to go private if they don't like it!

I rang this morning on the dot of 8.00am. The recorded message advised me that the ‘surgery was receiving a high number of calls’ and it was not possible to add me to the queue. I have a very personal problem which may need seeing by a doctor. There has to be a solution to this provided in the near future -please.

Dear Mr Pearce, We are sorry to hear of your difficulties in obtaining the help you require. We try our best to provide the best service we can offer. We appreciate there can be difficulties in getting through to reception at times, especially at a peak time like the start of the day. We continually analyse how our service is being used and work with our Patient Participation Group to try to adapt our service to what best suits our population with the resources we have.
