As a woman with a chronic illness, I have frequently faced dismissal and minimisation from GPs - and many of them, with each appointment involving another doctor I have to appeal to. Since moving to Lensfield, I have seen the same GP every time, except when needing an urgent appointment. The time between triage and appointment is reasonable. I've been listened to and had my symptoms taken seriously. I've received the necessary referral to begin treatment to manage my health. This should not be so unusual, but because it truly is, it is remarkable that Lensfield is managing it. They set a standard for other practices. Thank you, sincerely.

I have been at this practice for a number of years and found it to be a superb surgery, which I regularly recommend to people. There is a clear focus on patient care. While all services are obviously stressed right now, I feel this practice doesn't sacrifice patient care. Requests for appointments are triaged by GPs and appointments provided when needed. There are a range of other staff - social prescribers, clinical pharmacists who provide additional support to patients. Even throughout the pandemic this surgery took great care of its patients. I think practices like Lensfield are rare these days and they set the example of what good primary care looks like.

Review titled Great practice with caring nurses and GPs

This review is not exclusively related to my last visit, but it reflects the overall service I have received at the practice. My GP is awesome (I would not mind to name him but the rules do not allow it). However I have seen other GPs, according to availability and I always had positive experiences. They listen and they are caring. All the nurses are very helpful as well, but I wish to say a big thank you to the nurse I saw at my last appointment as she went beyond and above her duty to help. The online triage 'system' seems a bit tricky to start with, but once you get used to it it is fine, and the doctors have always got back to me promptly either via text or phone call depending on the issue.

I'm very happy with the care I've been able to receive at this surgery. It's got great doctors and nurses, friendly reception, and convenient location. The space can be slightly confusing to navigate at first, e.g. unclear where the waiting areas are. But I got to know the space after a few visit, so it's not a big issue. Highly recommend!
