Why has the signing in screen been moved to the other side of the reception desk ? This necessitates by-passing the queue of people waiting to see the receptionist, which can cause problems. The screen was better situated where it was surely.

Very professional and quick .. gave me cortisone injection and I’m now not in so much pain…was hard to get appointment and late going in but he was marvellous and has been before .. a great doctor

I cannot recommend Lawrence Hill Health Centre enough. The receptionists are always really kind and understanding, and whilst they are always under immense amounts of pressure with so much going on at once, they have always made me feel like they have more than enough time to discuss options. The waiting area is really quite lovely, with the garden area, usually herbs and vegetables ready to take and plenty of seating. Every GP that my partner and I have seen have been absolutely wonderful. They’ve really taken their time, paying attention to every detail, whilst bringing a friendly and warm atmosphere. It is completely clear how dedicated they are to patient care and have put me totally at ease, knowing that they are doing everything that they can to help improve daily life. I feel listened to, validated and cared for every visit, I cannot thank them enough!!!

I was concerned over some new moles and the doctor reassured me and made me feel better within a short space of time. I am very fortunate with my health. However when I needed them I had an appointment within 6 days of phoning them.

Last year, after a referral back to my GP from the hospital, I felt disheartened. I questioned whether it was even worth following up, after all I had just left A&E with medication that only masked my symptoms. But deep down, I knew I needed to get to the root of the problem. During a telephone consultation, the doctor reassured me that they would do everything possible to help, but it would be a process of elimination. That process led to a life changing diagnosis: cancer. Navigating treatment was overwhelming, and as a result, I was forced into early menopause. Confused and uncertain, I turned to my GP once again. As always, the team at Lawrence Hill Health Centre provided fantastic advice. They made me feel safe, and genuinely cared for. At my in person appointment, every staff member I encountered was kind, patient, and took the time to address my concerns. They went over information carefully, ensuring I fully understood my situation and options. The level of holistic care at this surgery is rare. They treat patients as individuals, not just symptoms. I cannot overstate how much that means, especially during such a difficult time in my life. I never want to leave this practice. It’s a place where I feel truly supported in every aspect of my health.

Could tell the receptionist was unhappy in her job. A new member of health visiting staff arrived at desk to introduce her self. Receptionist was not welcoming, told her to come around to side entrance, no name or ID check! Service from treatment room nurse lovely, really friendly.

I have been with this practice since 2002 and the care I used to receive was exceptional. Unfortunately, now a days I found it hard to arrange an appointment to see a GP and if I find one it’s likely to be with associates who are less likely to prescribe me with the correct medicine.

Had a blood test with nurse. Was done on time & had the results the next day. All the Doctors & nurses are very helpful & professional. Marks 10 out of 10 !!

The phone service is utter rubbish, today i was on phone to the practice and was in the que and got to number one and they hung up on me and when i phoned back i was number 30 in the que. This is un acceptable. this phone service needs to be improved. I am not happy with the current service. Also it takes a long time for an appointment.
