  1. Review titled Unacceptable service

Rated 1 star out of 5

Average phone wait time to speak to someone is 20-30 minutes. I have been waiting for a letter since Nov 23, when I phone am given different reasons as to why I have not received it, none of them plausible. Phoned to request a meeting with the Practice Manager to discuss, and was advised Practice Manager doesn't see people but she would call me. 3 days later still waiting for call. Now becoming stressful and exhausting.

  2. Review titled Not happy with this surgery

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I called the surgery in late a December. Because I felt as if I had the flu. I was told by the receptionist that she would speak to the doctor and I should get some Amoxicillin from the pharmacy. She’s not the doctor! I asked if I should call back the next day, to find out what the GP said or if I could get an appointment. She said no. Thank goodness for NHS 111. I was able to get an out of hours GP who gave me some good advice. To get a repeat prescription also seems to be a chore I was told to come in and write down my repeat prescription on a piece of paper. Being at this surgery for just over a year, it’s been not that satisfactory. Most of the reception team are helpful but there are one or two that need to be more empathetic. Also when you go the the waiting area,.all the windows were closed even towards the end of the pandemic. I had to ask to have a few windows open as there were people coughing. My actual GP is ok. But the surgery itself could do with an upgrade. Now looking to move from this surgery even though it’s the closest to me.

  3. Review titled Not patient friendly

Rated 1 star out of 5

I waited three weeks for a appointment I arrived 10 minutes early and I then waited over a hour to be seen, the patient waiting room has two walls full of windows there was no fans no air conditioning and worse of all no water, how much would it cost the practice to have fresh water in the waiting room, my consultant at Whipps cross will write on my behalf to the quality care commission

  4. Review titled Very bad

Very very bad service ! I am in shock - I called and said that my child has been coughing for two weeks and I want to check the lungs. I am given an address for this at Leyton, how is this possible??? wake up people, I live in Chingford and the easiest way to check your lungs is in Leyton! Of course the kids will die!

  5. Review titled Good practice but difficult to get through to

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 10 October 2022

The staff are friendly and helpful and the medical team are quick to address issues. Only downside is it that it took me 3 hours to get through to them on call to book an appointment. Overall a good practice.

  6. Review titled Very disappointing

Rated 2 stars out of 5

As usual I spent hours on the phone throughout the last two days wanting to order a repeat prescripton and no-one answered the telephone. I have been offered telephone consultations in the pastwhich have proved most unsatisfactory and for a promised out- of -hours consultationrecently - I was told after 6 pm - I sat with my mobile and landline phones by me all evening and no-one rang. When I phoned the surgery next day, the person concerned , probably agency staff, claimed they had tried three times and I did not answer. This was not true. Both phone numbers had been checked beforehand by the surgery. It is very frustrating not to be able to speak to anyone and while I would like to give a good review, I am unable to do so in the circumstances. Very occasionally I find the staff helpful, but that is only if you can get through to them in the first place, which is rare.

  7. Review titled I regret changing my previous GP to this one

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have been with this practice for around 5-6 months now and I was not able to even get an appointment once. Noone is answering the phone or replying back to the emails. I could not get any more information about my own blood sugar levels after a test other than an sms saying I have high blood sugars and pre-diabetes.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry you have a reason to complain but I am confused as to which email address you have been trying to contact us on as we do not use an email for patients communicating but a submission form on our website. We have appointments available daily as emergencies but also the facility of online consultation form on our website. We have many appointment options including extended hours in the evenings and weekends are available. Please contact the practice manager and we will get to the bottom of this.
