I visited this practice on the 31/01/24 for my 08:30 appointment. The doctor I saw in question was absolutely professional, listen to what my concerns were. He gave me superb advice to help with my long term condition. He put my mind at ease by explaining everything to me in detail. I left his office in good spirit knowing it was the best chat with a doctor in a while. Absolutely fantastic, a very compassionate doctor. I felt very relax and comfortable with him explaining certain things that I am still struggling with day by day. He listened attentively to what I had to say. He made everything clear to me and how to help cope with my health problems. This doctor is an Angel amongst us.

After half an hour on the phone this morning, I was told to try again tomorrow at 8am to get a prebooked appointment as they were all gone for the morning. This is not for an appointment on the day, it's for any appointment at all in the next few days. It took me a lot of effort and anxiety to make the call and I can't go through it all again tomorrow. The surgery is advertising for new patients, but the existing patients can't even book an appointment without competitively bidding on the phone every morning. Not everyone can be on the phone for an hour at that time of morning. Ridiculous system! People are going to be missing out on important treatment or screening because they can't do the telephone appointment competition.

How it’s possible to stay in the queue for 1 hour and 30 min when you are no 5 in the queue? How much can take to arrange an appointment? For sure not half an hour,and when it’s your turn in 2 min they end the conversation because “it’s fully booked today “.And when you finally get an appointment it’s either a phone call one with a practitioner or they will put a pharmacist to call you. If you are lucky to actually be seen by a practitioner you are sent back home because you will get better within a week without any medication,in the end still unlucky…. Worst surgery!!!!!

I don’t under how can they make me stay on the phone for so long I keep calling them and I’m number one in the cue and still no answer for one hour kiek really is this a joke. This go shouldn’t exist at all I said what I said worthless…

Review titled Impressive treatment despite being Covid positive

For the second time is past six weeks I’ve experienced amazing service from reception and doctors after asthma / chest pain being asked in to see the gp despite me having Covid. Wonderful caring attitude from all staff from start to finish wanting to do their best for me. They certainly succeeded reinstating my faith in our gps particularly my doctor who went above and beyond. Well done
