  1. Review titled Poor service and mistakes

I joined as a new patient a couple of years ago and sadly have not had positive experience. I've had prescriptions written wrong. Got to the pharmacy to find I've been prescribed 1 tablet instead of 7. More recently I was sent a prescription that wasn't for me and they had no explanation for why this had happened and didn't seem bothered. More recently I had a missed call from them. I called back and they said the dr wanted to discuss my blood test results and had booked in a telephone consultation in 6 days time as they wanted to wait until they had some other results also. This was fine, but they'd already booked in a time automatically which I couldn't do. They moved the time to 8am which was great. I asked if I could at least have the result so I wasn't worrying for 6 days, but i just got told i had to wait for the dr. However, when they called it was just white noise. Nobody there. I waited for 5 minutes but nobody called back. Tried to ring the surgery. I was no 7 in line. I got to number 3 and got cut off! I've finally got through to be told I can't book another appointment over the phone and that they'll try and get the Dr to call me back but he's only in this morning. I'm not really sure what the point of the office staff are, if you can't book an appointment or get your results of them. When you actually get to see a Dr they are friendly, so it's a shame there are so many issues.

  2. Review titled Awful

No one ever answers the phone so it is very difficult to get an appointment. If you manage to get one, appointments are telephone only, and you are not given a time slot, so you can be called at any time on your appointment day. This makes things incredibly difficult, especially for people who work during the day. Waiting times for appointments are generally over 2 weeks. All staff are agency staff including receptionists and nurses, meaning you never see the same person twice and information isn't passed on effectively, meaning you have to explain the ongoing problem to a new person every time. The GPs are very uninterested and quick to dismiss issues. They forget to actually make referrals and have to be chased constantly. The desk supervisor is rude and confrontational if you ask to make a complaint. I would avoid if you can. Unfortunately, I'm not sure you'd find a better practice anywhere else judging by the state of the country and how hard it is to register with a new GP.
