I have nothing but praise and respect for Kirkheaton Surgery. From talking to the receptionist at 9am I was able to collect an urgent prescription for my wife from the pharmacy by 11.30am the same day.

Quite happy with the practice and everyone but the new website is awful! On the home page there is 'repeat prescriptions' at the top but when you click on that it goes to a long page telling you that you can log in but no method of logging in. It goes round in circles before getting to the details then, if you want to order for a child, round again! Please put a note at the top of the page telling people to scroll right down to 'system online' then you will get back to the proper place!! It was so easy before when you went straight to system online.

I know that GP surgeries are struggling at the minute and there are alot of people complaining, however, I can't fault Kirkheaton Surgery at all. I have had to go a few times over the past six months and I have got in the same day I called. The reception staff have been lovely and the doctors have been great in resolving my issues. I saw a lovely doctor this morning who was so helpful and gave me the time to explain my problem, I didn't feel rushed and he put my mind at ease. I obviously appreciate that they are extremely busy at the minute so will only go if I really need to and I try not to take up too much of their time. I just want to say a massive thank you to all the reception staff and doctors who are doing a fantastic job at Kirkheaton Surgery

Such a lovely practice with absolutely amazing staff. All receptionists are all extremely helpful, and make sure you get the care you need. Drs and nurses go above and beyond with patient care. They are brilliant with children and explain everything to them, and get them as involved as possible in what is needed. It's a lovely practice with amazing staff. It's definitely the best practice I've ever been with, and I would definitely recommend this practice to people.
