I rang a while ago to make an appointment to discuss having a blood test due to ongoing fatigue. Got called by someone out of the surgery in Hereford who agreed I should have a blood test but couldn't actually book me in. Pointless phone call! Then rang GP, was put on hold 3 or 4 times, got given an appointment face to face for January which was fine. I knew the Dr wouldn't do bloods then so requested an actual appointment to take the bloods as well. Was told 4 or 5 times to cancel if the appointments weren't needed as though I have previous of not turning up. I had one phone call from a Dr that I couldn't understand and got really upset so had to put the phone down due to not being able to have a conversation with him. I feel like they don't really understand Mental Health very well and tend to just assume everyone is taking the p. I feel covid is still getting the blame for poor face to face quality gp appointments!

My mother has had a lot of trouble with her shoulder recently. She rang this morning and asked for a callback. After 2 hours if waiting she had no call so she called back. The woman she spoke to said there was no record even though she never took her name. They then said that she can have an appointment on the 20th of march. I don't know what the problem there is whether it is short of doctor's or like most doctors with common sense think that it's not beneficial to work at. This practice has seriously gone down hill after the loss of the original drs and management
