My mother has had a lot of trouble with her shoulder recently. She rang this morning and asked for a callback. After 2 hours if waiting she had no call so she called back. The woman she spoke to said there was no record even though she never took her name. They then said that she can have an appointment on the 20th of march. I don't know what the problem there is whether it is short of doctor's or like most doctors with common sense think that it's not beneficial to work at. This practice has seriously gone down hill after the loss of the original drs and management

I needed follow up advice following minor surgery. I had to be away from home at the time. Not able to speak to anyone medically trained all day. Receptionist took details incorrectly, and spoke to a nurse who was too busy to speak to me! Surely it would be more professional to speak to me, the person who knows what they are talking about? I was then advised to go to another doctor. Lovely to know they care. I was already in a lot of pain and discomfort this just adds to a patients distress. Not the first time I have experienced the uncaring inferior provision.

Rang the surgery on Monday approximately midday with concerns regarding my husbands worsening abdomen pain. Reception booked an on the day appointment with a doctor for later that afternoon. Time and care was given by doctor. Follow up appointment was booked for the following day when blood tests came back .Doctor phoned the next morning as soon as results were back .Advised to pack overnight bag, pick up letter written by the doctor to take to accident and emergency to save time at the hospital. Thank you to receptionist and the two doctor's for their help and kindness much appreciated.

I have just joined this pratice. And from the first contact with receptionist through to GP appointment and nurse appointment the service has been excellent. Kind, thoughful and compassionate. Patient and considerate. All staff I have interact with have given me the time I need to explain things and I have not felt rushed and they have explained what I need to do clearly and effectively.

Rang this morning and got an appointment for 2 hours later. Was seen and cared for very well after feeling so poorly I was put at my ease and a course of treatment organised

My partner phoned for an appointment after me being in bed for a week. I was given an appointment in 2hrs time. My nurse practitioner was friendly, had plenty of time for me and gave me good advice plus a prescription. I started improving after a couple of days and continue to do so. Cannot fault my treatment in any way. Extremely grateful.

My child had a visit to A&E, it was recommended by the doctor that he saw there that he had a follow up appointment, Kington surgery could not offer an appointment until 3 weeks after! They also had some results from the hospital which they do not seem to know anything about. I do not know the infection my child had and can not see a doctor to discuss his ongoing symptoms which have lasted for 2 weeks now! It’s appalling that a doctors surgery do not seem to have any appointments to offer a child! Especially after it was recommended by a doctor who had already seen him. I am a concerned mother and feel let down by the surgery. I appreciate that there are many other people to care for but how can there by no available appointments for weeks!!
