We have been at this practice for years but I have had to change to a different dr due to me having to fight for an appointment to see a dr also to get pain relief for my husband who is recovering from an operation , we have all moved as a family as my daughter and her family have had same experience, the receptionist don’t care a family member of mine was in tears cos she couldn’t get an appointment for her poorly little boy, all u get is ring This is not acceptable so that’s the reason all my extended family have moved to a different GP

My husband and I and wider family have had to leave this surgery due to not being able to get an appointment for a dr, I’m sick of fighting and begging receptionist for different things , my husband had surgery on his knee and was prescribed pain relief which I was told to get from the drs but after asking 3 times for this he was left all over Easter and days after without any, the receptionist just don’t care , my daughter was left crying for an appointment for her little boy only to be told go to A&E she shouldn’t have to when she’s got a family Gp , well enough is enough and we have all moved to a smaller surgery where we have more chance of seeing a dr instead of a nurse practitioner, , my husband was born into this surgery 74 years ago , but we have to be looked after as we get older not fobbed off by a receptionist who dosent care if you get an appointment or not

I have tried to speak to appointments, but I found it impossible impossible to contact the practice today either by telephone or online. The NHS online is too complicated for me at 89 years Why is the system always being changed? This paractice used to be the best in Yorkshire but things have changed and not for the better.

i was released from hospital four days ago after suffering a stroke i was told kings would be in touch as i needed an heart monitor over 48 hours plus my blood pressure was very high phoned yesterday to remind them i was told i would be having a phone call today this as not happened

I enjoyed the clinic, was able to learn a lot from the doctor and from the other participants and gave me knowledge on what to expect as I progress.

I had blood tests done on the 7 November to review my medication. I’ve sent several emails no reply been told several times they are reviewing it after I’ve made phone calls, but I’ve only had it put on for another 2 months I need this medication and I can’t believe how hard it is for this to be resolved poor service.

Been a patient here for some years and must state i have had an excellent service,not only from Medical staff and the Administration staff, only today I had a problem that was dealt efficiently and immediately, by the Administration staff. Five star rating!!!!!!!

Thank you for organising this group. It’s been a brilliant opportunity to listen to the experiences of others and share my own concerns. It was invaluable having a GP there to share expertise and give advice on the most appropriate individual treatment.
