    I had really good care from my GP today. I was able to make a f2f appointment and I was able to discuss my treatment options without being rushed. I found my concerns were taken seriously and listened to and together we made a plan for management of my condition. My GP listened and was able to assist me in making decisions about a treatment plan. I received excellent care and would recommend this practice.

    Not wanting the frustration of waiting an hour by the `phone with a simple request for information , I decided to send an email instead. I was faced with two optional addresses. I tried Fulwood first because it is the one that I am registered to, but British Telecom rejected it, as it did when I tried the alternative. I had more success when I decided to try again but added .com because it seemed to give me a better chance. It worked ! That was 9 days ago and a reply has not been forthcoming and I have a theory why this is. If they supply a rubbish address for each site, they are not going to receive any emails entirely through their own fault, so they have no need to monitor the facility - so they don`t. Not knowing their own email address or not spotting an error and correcting it, is pretty basic to computer use and indicates a sloppiness in their assumed professionalism. This silly mistake should never have slipped through the net. I would ask them to correct their email addresses on their website to add the .com at the end. Oh yes and by the way, it is not capital i in Issa, it is lower case. Please tell the person who prepared the address for your website, to do better.

    Dear Patient Firstly, please accept our apologies in delayed response. Due to system access issues beyond our control, we were unable to respond until now. I have investigated the matter above, and believe my colleague clarified for you that the information you were looking at was not in fact our email address but our site name. As we are based over two branches, we differentiate site name by Issa@Deepdale and Issa@Fulwood. Our website was and is currently under re-construction and we welcome any feedback on how we can improve and make the website more useful friendly, so thank you for taking the time to leave your comments.     The new survey at Fulwood is fantastic Yes you need to wait to book an appointment over the phone but once booked staff and service are wonderful Nurse staff thorough and understanding with prompt follow ups Thank you

    Awful telephone system. Face to face appointments nigh on impossible. Palmed off with either HCAs or pharmacists for information. Registering with another practice asap.

    Dear Patient Thank you for your feedback, I apologise you have had an issue accessing the surgery, we are currently looking into the telephone system.     I have only dealt with them twice and neither experience was what could be called uplifting. A couple of weeks or so after it opened, I had cause to ring the prescription line. An automated message informed me that I was 49th in the queue. One hour and 14 minutes later, I was still waiting in the queue and I was down to 6th. As a pensioner, the cost of that telephone call, was more than I could really afford. So I had to hang up. At a later date, I also had to ring to book an appointment with the nurse for my blood test result as is usual at such times. I was told by whoever was on the other end of the line that I didn`t need one as my blood test was normal. This was interesting because as a diabetic who should not have a `normal` result because of my illness, I wondered why I was on medication for anything at all ! It was a struggle to get an appointment and I eventually failed in my attempt. It seems that the Fatima Centre is running on a wing and a prayer.

I understand the prescription line can be very busy and this is something we are looking into, there are other ways to order your repeat medications and if you would like to contact me at the practice I am more than happy to see if we can find a better solution for you.
