Don’t expect to get anywhere with anything in regards to your health. GP’s can not even be bothered to read your files and just fob you off out the door. I’ve been trying to get a hernia sorted for years and I booked a GP slot to be told I needed to contact the hospital. Hospital told me they sent a letter to GP’s in 2022 saying I needed to be referred to a specialist but GP’s have not don’t it so I’ve waited for 3 years for nothing. Very unhelpful staff and anyone that works a lot get just abbot nothing from them unless you book endless days off work and loose a fortune in pay. Utterly useless GP that makes nothing but mistakes they have lost test samples, told me wrong information endless time and can not even get my medication to me properly. They are below poor standers and I’d be ashamed to treat people as badly as they do. If you get upset about there utterly disgusting service they blame you and just quote rules and regulations.

It is clear your issues with the practice are very much long-standing personal ones. There is of course always two sides to an experience and would very much be happy to look into this more specifically for you. We would be grateful if you could contact the practice and afford us the opportunity to investigate your comments more and get some much-needed clarity to you. In view of your long-standing dissatisfaction, we would like to remind you that whilst all efforts are made to meet individuals personal demands and expectations, we are a practice with over 20,000 patients and therefore all processes need to be both robust and fair to all. If you truly feel the way you do in regards to your review, we are now wondering if you have since re-registered at an alternate practice of your choosing or whether this is something being considered. We would of course be very sad to lose a patient under such circumstances without being given the opportunity to investigate your issues directly but you are of course within your rights to register elsewhere if you feel another practice can meet your personal expectations better. My family and I don’t need to visit the GP often, but when we do, we always have a great experience with Inspire Health in Chesterfield. While you often hear negative stories about people struggling to get appointments or facing challenges—especially around menopause care—I wanted to share a positive experience. I know friends who’ve had a tough time getting proper diagnosis and support, but my experience was quite the opposite. This review is specifically about the outstanding care I received from a lady Dr (the review won’t let me leave her name). From my very first appointment, she was incredibly supportive. She truly listened, offered fantastic advice, and prescribed exactly what I needed to help manage my perimenopause symptoms. Over the last few months, my quality of life has improved significantly—my relationships, work, fitness, and overall health are all in a much better place. I’m really thankful for the wonderful work the entire team at Inspire Health does!

Had an issue trying to make an online appointment. Spoke with the two receptionists who were very helpful in explaining how to use the system, even offered to do it with me. Appreciated their kind manner and willingness to help.

I received a phone call out of the blue from a G P who had been overseeing some of my care recently and this was unexpected and just to check in with me to ask if I was OK and with the offer of a chance to talk if I needed to. This action was above and beyond what I can expect from my doctor and the doctor did not have to go out of their way to do this for me and I am appreciative and grateful for this. It was a surprise and a pleasant one at that. When things like this happen, it makes me rethink my views on General Practice and medical professionals which are not particularly positive and gives me some hope that there are some clinicians out there doing the job not just for the money. Thankyou for your consideration today. It did not go unnoticed.

The doctor who I saw was very helpful and understanding. He took the time to explain what options I have and was very understanding. Felt comfortable discussing my issues and he explained that there are a number of different ways we can go if the first thing isn’t suitable.

Able to log on after 5.00pm last night to request an appointment. And received a phone call confirming one (at 09.15) this morning at 7.40am. Very happy with that but concerned that if you go on after 5.15pm or thereabouts to try to book all the available slot have gone.

Your comments regarded the availability of appointments after 5:15pm has been noted and we completely share your thoughts as to this. Unfortunately, GP practices have been under immense pressures in recent years with little to no financial uplift resulting in no additional capacity or resources. Sadly, demands on NHS services still remains at the highest it has ever been and as a result, we completely agree that appointment capacity can be reached very quickly on some days.
