Can't get a doctors appointment for my mother who is 88 years old got to see a nurse the appointment system is a disgrace can never get a appointment have to argue every single time to try and see a doctor .this is a disgrace it used to be a good surgery now it's a shambles you should be able to see a doctor when you need one not when it suits them .you just get passed over to a nurse which is not good enough this isn't the first time this has happened and it will keep happening until the appointment system changes I would not recommend anybody joining this practice at the moment until things change on the plus side the nurses are really good this experience was through a phone call I recently had

Thank you for your feedback. I think the appointment was with our experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner and your comment states that the nurses are really good so I'm unsure why the feedback is so negative.

My mam of 86 years old has been with this practice all her life and lately she has had problems and the service she is receiving is terrible , got told last week 3 times the doctor would be coming out as she's housebound and 3 times they didn't come out , they give her anti biotics for 3 days which works but as soon as the course end she's back in extreme pain, and again they just repeat the prescription so basically she okay for 3 days a week the rest in extreme pain, yes we've been to a&e in the ambulance and that's another experience, 14 hours sitting there to be told there's a paracetamol go see your own doctor, which is practically impossible to do.
