I must say I have left several reviews over the past few years and can say that in all of the many occasions I have been assisted by the staff at hopwood house I have never once had a negative experience Thanks again James Taylor

The nurse at the practice really put my daughter at ease when having her bloods done, she was friendly, professional and really showed she cared.

My experience was fantastic, i went in before my actual appointment time which was great, was in and out within 5 minutes. Staff are great,always go above and beyond to help the patients.

I was granted a “telephone consultation” with a doctor and waited over a week. I then received a text stating my appointment would be for 10:30am. Closer to the time I received a second message confirming it and again 10:30am. I went to the gym and found I had a missed call from the doctors at 9:30am, I then had a message stating the doctor had rang twice…… not true I only had one missed call. I contacted the surgery and was told by the receptionist that a telephone call could be made anytime!!!!!!! So what’s the point of an appointment time????????? To add insult to injury I have Now received a message advising me I’ve missed an appointment! Not impressed I’m thinking of moving practice.

Dear Patient, I am sorry you have not had a good experience at the surgery. We have an automated appointment reminder system which does not recognize telephone consultation appointments however you should have been informed to ignore the reminder and that your telephone consultation could be anytime between 8am and 6.30pm when you booked the appointment. I also recently sent a message to all patients stating this. The clinician will attempt to contact a patient twice, if the call is not answered then unfortunately this is classed as a missed appointment and the patient would be asked to rebook. It's impossible to get a face to face appointment they just pass you onto icc, when you go into this surgery most of the time it's empty and still you can't get an appointment it's more about patient quantity and not quality

Dear Mr Fogarty I am sorry you have not had a good experience at the surgery. We do provide face to face appointments should a patient need to be examined by a GP/ANP however the clinicians offer telephone consultations in the first instance. Should the clinician wish to examine a patient they are invited into surgery. If you require a face to face appointment please let the receptionist know when you contact the surgery. All appointments with the Practice Nurse and HCA are face to face. We offer telephone triage appointments on a daily basis for patients with problems that need to be dealt with that day. We only refer patients to the ICC when all our appointments have been taken. Thank you J Berry Practice Manager

Friendly helpful staff who are always there to support you and look after you. The pharmacy is also brilliant and always help you with your medication or any questions you may have. Always get my medication delivered and it’s always on time and delivered by friendly people really appreciate everyone’s support at the practice over the years thank you to you all

Called to get a phone consultation and within half an hour I was speaking to someone. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and leave you feeling that you are in good hands. I don’t thing I have ever had long to wait for face to face appointments either.

Hopwood house are always willing to listen to requests The staff do the very best possible to assist wherever possible The health service is under an enormous strain If all areas of the nhs had staff like hopwood house the system would be much better . James Taylor
