    I can not believe how rude your staff are on the phone. The lady I unfortunately spoke to was so unprofessional, unhelpful and extremely rude.

    I recently sustained a serious knee injury from a fall; after being xrayed in A&E I struggled at home for a week before using the new econsult to ask for help from the GP. I was phoned with an appointment within 2 hours, and seen by lunchtime, very caring, efficient and professional GP, given stronger pain killers and referred to fracture clinic. The econsult worked well for this acute problem, the triage system picked up this was urgent and I was treated promptly. The staff are all fantastic and I recommend them highly.

    The doctors are caring, so are the nursing and administrative staff. They respond quickly to e consults and they care. They also provide appropriate treatment. You can go back to them when one medication is not working and they will suggest something better. Although they are limited by what a GP can do, they do their best. The more experienced Doctors are very good at what they do.

    I recently had the pleasure to be seen by the Practice Advanced Clinical Practitioner and I cannot speak more highly about her skill, manner, support, knowledge and patient centred approach. Right from the outset she listened intently and took a holistic approach to the issues I was experiencing. Not only did she very quickly get to grips with my symptoms, she explained why certain aspects of my health were being impacted by my current illness. I had been prescribed 1st line antibiotics by the General Practitioner I saw 4 days previously, but as my symptoms worsened the Advanced Clinical Practitioner took a very strong line in tackling my illness which I am glad to say is under control and she followed up with me to help manage my other on-going conditions to improve my overall well-being and health. She is a credit to the practise and I would highly recommend her in terms of her clinical practise as well as her caring and supportive manner. Bravo 5*

    I contacted Holmwood Corner Surgery to schedule an appointment with a GP. However, I was informed by the receptionist that the only way to book an appointment was by completing the online form. Unfortunately, this new system requires patients to answer a series of questions related to various illnesses, including some that may not be relevant to them, such as sexual health-related questions that are not appropriate for children, or questions that include medical terminology not easily understood by everyone. This process can be particularly difficult for individuals with busy schedules, limited computer literacy, or serious illnesses. Regrettably, some members of the staff have been unhelpful and even impolite, refusing to provide appointments unless patients complete the online form, even when they are dealing with a terminal illness. It is unjust to penalise patients in this manner. My experience is not unique, as I have heard similar complaints from other patients who have visited Holmwood Corner Surgery. As a developed country, it is imperative to offer high-quality healthcare services to all patients, including compassionate and understanding receptionists. Therefore, it is necessary for the management to take these concerns seriously and take immediate action, such as revising the appointment system and providing training to the staff to demonstrate empathy towards patients.

    My Mother came to visit and unfortunately became unwell. I phoned the doctor and spoke to the Business Manager who registered my mother as a temporary patient. We completed a series of questions and she was booked promptly to see a GP on the same day. The GP we saw was so lovely, she examined my mum and treated her with kindness. All round excellent service received from Holmwood Corner. Thank you so much for the kindness you showed my mother.

    The old system of booking appointments etc was very easy. The econsulting website is not very user friendly, and probably puts a lot of people off. Everything else about the practice is excellent.

    Practice had a simple app based appointment booking service, or phone in system that worked - to add to great Dr services. Now it's been replaced with an un-workable triage NHS outsourced algo based piece of software, that wastes your time only to tell you it can't triage you. Ultimately sending you into a loop of doom wasting time. The end result, you ain't see a Dr in time and it'll simply put pressure on an overloaded A&E department, who will then tell you to see your GP, rightly so! See the doom loop? Any NHS beuaracrats seeing this? Your Drs and nurses are great, your managers and systems need a reboot of efficiency over red tape nonsense. The patient first remember??

    had appt last wed 7 sept dr said they would send prescription to chemist, i go to chemist they have not got it, so have to wait till monday to phone surgery, no 11 in line so try to do their online form(we are both in our 70's and not computer savvy at all )however i somehow managed to fill in the form only to get a message at the end to say someone would get back to me buy thursday. i think this new system is really frustrating instead of making things easier it seems to take more time and is making reception a lot more work i am not surprised the ladies on reception are seeming a little rude sometimes.
